| To be honest I was near the back behind the sticks in the Pink stand but I didn't hear any of those chants. A lot were jumping up and down and one or two ignorant sods remained standing for quite a while but nothing really untoward happened.

| They were all about twelve weren't they? By the time we got into the ground we'd virtually filled our end and were sat on the end of the stand. i couldn't make out much of the chants but the constant "we all hate leeds sc*m" has no place in our sport at all. We weren't even playing them though that makes no difference to me refering to other fans as sc*m is completely disrespectful.
I think it was the same group that might have been involved in an incident in St Georges square.
My brother and I went into Huddersfield town centre for a couple of drinks and as we entered the square from Northumberland St a middle aged bloke walking in the opposite said something about rugby fans to a couple in front of us. I just heard the lady saying "well that's cos they're from Bradford" - nice - and then say a group of lads (I'd say they were somewhere between about sixteen and twenty one in age) were shouting abuse at a young couple walking off towards nando's. this group then walked up the square towards the train station. I couldn't tell if they were in fact Rugby fans at all but I thought one of them had last years away shirt on.
Does the club run a coach to Huddersfield? If they did was anyone on here on it and with these wassocks?

| I would add i think it's a bit OTT to expect people to be banned cause some chants are in poor taste. I swear a lot myself at rugby, as do a lot of folk round me.
And i was near a fair few old people asking every bugger to sit down.

The reason for this though is because there are some incredibly ignorant people who insist on standing up at every small opportunity. Nobody has a problem with standing up at the big moments, but there are some who seem to want to stand the entire game. This then gets people annoyed and they start overreacting to those who are only standing occasionally.
If everyone just had a little consideration for those behind them and tried not to do it excessively, there wouldn't be an issue. There was a couple of blokes a few rows in front of me that were more of less stood up constantly for the last 20 minutes, as every time they did actually sit down, they were up again seconds later and didn't sit back down for a good few minutes. The poor lad behind them couldn't see a thing, as he didn't want to stand and block the person behind him too, but he was too timid to ask the guy in front of him.
What is needed is a nice balance. Nobody has to sit down the entire game, but have a bit of consideration for the people behind you.
It's not really difficult.

Again, I think you're missing the point completely.
The ginger one, has been banned from Odsal before and I'd suspect it's the same case for a few of his other cronies. They're known troublemakers and nothing more than hooligans.
The odd bad language is fine, but the amount last night was disgraceful. Again, for a sport that is marketed as being family oriented, if you have young kids and take them to the game, I'm sure your attitude towards that group maybe slightly different.

All very fair, or do as I did and sit at the very back so you can do as you please. I sympathise with people who enjoy standing/jumping up off their seat, I enjoy myself much more at grounds that have standing areas.

There was a coach from the club. To be honest it was pretty quiet one (even on the way there) so I guess they made other arrangements.

Exactly yeah. If you know you're a bit excitable and tend to jump and stand up more than is fair on folk behind you, just try to sit somewhere where there isn't lots of people. There were plenty of seats fairly near me that nobody was sat in, so if the people who wanted to stand almost all game wanted to do that, just sit in a seat without people behind you.
They get to stand, everyone gets to see. Everyone wins. It's all about consideration for your fellow fans people, share the love!
