Well for a start he was reluctant to play Leon at 6, which led to him leaving and signing for Saints instead. Where he plays 6, and does reasonably well in that position.
Plus it is also believed (I think) that he had some say, along with Caisley, in us signing Iestyn Harris, which led to both JP leaving and also the club being sued by the Rhinos.
He then tried tempting many of our players to join him at Wigan once he left.
Other than that I see no reason to have any grudges

| I didn't like it when he signed Morley for the Grand Final run in 2005, and Lynch had to miss out. Also we went over the cap and were penalised for it. Felt like cheating to me.

| He constantly proves me wrong & is up there with John Kear as a thoroughly likeable bloke.

| Surely Noble would take responsibility for our Academy set up at that time, which as the club confirmed was not in the best shape when Macca took over.

| I'd like to see him in a director of rugby role or something alike. Someone for McNamara to look up to in need of help, because at the minute he has nobody.

nobles having knee surgery so this might be an option if he wants to take year out from a more active coaching role while he recuperates.

| I've heard he's taking a director of coaching job at Hull. I'd presumed the Celtic thing was a done deal.

| I've heard he is taking over at Man Utd as Fergie is getting his P45. I think they recognise he is the 2nd most successful manager at Old Trafford so they are gunna snap him up. Don't shoot the messenger.

I agree. I mean, its not like we had any sort of success when he played Leon elsewhere, is it. what a useless bloody coach he is, with no record of success to speak of.

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

The problem is RTB that a number of people on here seem to have no idea what a decent coach actually is.......
Noble - five consecutive GF appearances for Bradford, leading us to a number of GF/CC/WCC successes. Apparently, however, responsible for a poor youth policy.
McNamara - three consecutive seasons of decline, two of which saw the season ended by the aforementioned Mr Noble, back when we were good enough to get into the play-offs. No trophies, no finals, not even a sniff of a final, dwindling crowds, losing our best player in order to balance the books caused, in part, with the lessening amount of money coming through the turnstiles each week due to our declining standards.
Answer for some - no thanks Mr Noble, we are fine as we are.
Baffling!

Reluctance?.... (quoted from another thread)
Quote: Nothus "In 2004 L. Pryce was named 15 times at starting No 6. He didn't really stand out in any of them, which is possibly why the club sought the services of one Mr I. Harris who was No 6 for the 19th game of the season.'"
