He may not be a long term solution, but there's no doubt he's a good squad player. We MUST have room under the salary cap after releasing Tupou, so if Rinaldi is willing, I see no reason not to keep him until the end of the year.

If we're also going into next season with only two halves and two hookers (assuming we even have that many) in the squad, I'd keep him next year too.

I don't think he's ever gonna be a first choice player at a top club, but he's definitely excellent backup.

Just watched the replay of his try, Awesome. He looked up and down the line, threw a brilliant Dummy and then dived towards the tryline, the Wakey player stood next to him just looked like what the fu/ck.

Rinaldi's distribution impressed me. His passing is crisp and on target. Also it was interesting to see how the team improved yesterday when he came on. Suddenly we had a dummy half who seemed intent to play with his teammates rather than do his own thing every 5 mins.

I rate Newton but he does go awol from the gameplan at times and starts trying to do too much.

I think if poss Rinaldi should get a deal to take him to the end of the season, if only as cover for Deacon.
