| Quote: MDF "£20 is fine, thanks. The agreement was reached on the basis of 40 people @£20, but if we get any more than £800 in total I said that the excess would still go to the club. If there is slightly less, I understand that wouldn't be a problem. If there is significantly less, I'll come back on here and we can resolve what to do about it.
If people pay by PayPal, it would be appreciated if they cover the handling fees.'"
How much should I pay including the handling fee?

I don't have a massive amount of experience with PayPal, but my recollection was that, when I paid for sponsorship last year, I was given a choice of whether to pay the flat £20 or to include the handling fee. As far as I recall, I was prompted to make that choice - I didn't have to work it out. If things have changed, or if for any other reason you're not prompted to make the choice, then by all means just pay the flat £20.

There's a small fee for sending money to someone via credit / debit card and it's selected by default. At least it was for me just now.

| Seems to be a clear majority at the moment for Diskin, so if no one minds, I'll get back to Laura to reserve him.

It's only selected by default if you choose to send money to a friend/family. If you choose to pay for a service then seller gets charges fees. That's where people might get It wrong. Choose pay a friend option and it's automatic. Fee was 88p

| How exactly does the ticket thing work. I remember this being a perk last year but I never took it up as I didn't know how it would be redeemed.

The theory is that if, as at present, 42 people contribute, we pick 2 matches and there are 21 passes available for one match and 21 for the other. You can sign up for either (this is the bit that I'm not looking forward to organising!).
It's a flexible arrangement, though, and I'm sure that if one match is significantly more popular, we can negotiate with the club for a different distribution.
In the past, there has been a bit of horse-trading on here where some people weren't bothered about going and passed on their tickets to others who wanted to take family or friends - but that's between individuals.

Last year we were not offered the usual tickets for the Coral Stand, instead the deal was that on a selected day we could go watch the Academy training and get a spot of lunch up there. It never happened and given the disarray in recent months it seemed anal to chase it so I didn't.
How the Coral Stand thing worked in previous years was we picked 2 games from those available. Rather than fanny about trying to ascertain who was coming to which, I came up with the lazy wheeze of giving a list of names of all RAB sponsors to be held by the doorman, if you were on the list then he would let you in and you got to watch that game from the Coral Stand.
As for PayPal if you are using either a balance or a linked bank account then it is actually freeI'm sending money to family or friends
You will be charged a £0.00 GBP fee if you use your PayPal balance and/or bank account to send money.'"

Thank you.
I don't mind who we sponsor. But it would be good to sponsor the captain, but happy to go with the majority.
Again, not bothered which game, we don't tend to go in anyway, unless it's throwing down.
However, I would like to put a claim in for the signed shirt. As a school teacher in Bradford, it would look mounted in the entrance way, and maybe we could get the player himself to present it and talk to the children...
MDF -- if it makes the organising less stressful don't include me in the ticket draw.
Fwiw I'd like to support Debasers bid for the shirt-- excellent idea
