Bradford Bulls Statement
Quote BRADFORD BULLS can this evening announce that an independent Sporting Sanctions Appeal Panel has upheld the six-point deduction handed down by the Rugby Football League's Board of Directors, as a penalty for entering into administration earlier this year.
A spokesperson for Bradford Bulls' Board of Directors said: “We are naturally disappointed with the panel's decision in finding that we did not meet the necessary threshold to allow our appeal to be fully considered.
“Prior to the appeal hearing, we had already taken initial legal advice on our options should the appeal fail. We will now pursue those options with a view to making a decision on how to take matters further forward in the belief that the decision made was wrong.
“Inevitably, there will be upset amongst our players, supporters and sponsors who have throughout been supportive – both on and off the field.
“As a club, we are doing all we can to repay the faith shown by our supporters. We are hopeful that ultimately our efforts will bring success.”
Bradford Bulls will be making no further comment on the matter at this time.'"

Judging by the reasons given for the delays in it all I would guess that it was viewed that there was still not enough evidence for the decision to be overturned so basically the Bulls appeal couldn't be considered because there wasn't enough for the panel to look at |

I said beforehand that we should accept the ruling of the independent panel and assuming everything is above board and we received a fair hearing I stand by that.
We need to start making plans for dropping down a division and building some solid foundations. We need to make sure we're in the strongest possible position when the opportunity for promotion comes about. Whether that be by straight forward promotion or by another club in SL going belly up.

The fact that virtually everyone of us is taking this setback on the chin illustrates just how far fetched we deemed the appeal to be. Time to quickly move on.
What will be the players reaction on Sunday though? They'll possibly decide to dig ourselves out of this hole the traditional way....or they entirely give up and we get bent over.
