We are not the only ones in for him.

I'm sure you're not.
I'm not sure I'll care about it anymore then though.

| I was under the impression the RFL allow 7 days for either party to appeal/put right any contract disputes. It wasn't just a "I want to terminate my contract - yes, there you go".
That would of course mean that there had to be effective functioning management at the Bulls to follow the process.
Or the new people do want to go fully p/t and are allowing the FT players to tear up their contacts & go. Which is a different issue.
Who are our FT players? Webster, Keyes, Lilley, Hitchcox. Minchella - anyone else?

| Webster did not terminate his contract, he is not the player in question.

I would guess Jy. But wouldn't expect you to confirm or deny with the position you're in Roger.
In all honesty with only hear-say info of how bad the situation is, I wouldn't be surprised if all the FT players leave and we go to a fully PT environment. Sad when a fair few of them players have up FT jobs to commit to us.

I really do wish I could say what I know, people have a right to know the full facts. Sick of the genuine fans getting fooled every couple of years

I can only imagine pal and I really hope Elliot stays on and things seem better come the new season. If he does leave I'm sure he won't be short of offers.
The only genuine glimmer of hope that is keeping me going is that the guy coming in has a history and proven track record of turning a club around. I can take years of being a mid table championship team, as along as the players are always paid on time, treat right and cared for, and the club is always honest and professional with them. He did that at Wakey.
It will take him years to repair the damage of the last 7 years though and we probably will never get rid of these last few years that have stained our club.
I'm now just waiting for Chalmers to uncover even more substantial debt on Friday and the consortium walks away and Bradford Bulls becomes no more.

I didn't say. I think the other two full timers may be Milnes & Storton. But their FT contract upgrades weren't accepted by the RFL as we were in special measures. But their original P/T contracts are valid until end of 2020. They would be in demand and would make sense for Harrison to move them on

Well. If he's cutting costs, then the 2 big ones are the hybrid squad and the academy. Which is why I was trying to work out the FT players. Because there isn't a lot of FT options in the championship, so they would either have to go p/t again, or try to get a lower level SL slot.
Green had several reasons for going, but the main one was it allows him to develop his mortgage business and become parttime. And York is a shorter commute.
The academy is different, as funding is matched by SL at the value of 1:1. We have to put in ÂŁ100k of our own money to get another ÂŁ100k funding. But that's another 100k if he were to scrap the academy.
My instinct would be we would go p/t, and keep the academy.

| I facetiously posted it in the jokes thread a couple of weeks ago about Webster to Keighley.it hasn't just happened over the weekend.so 2 players have terminated their contracts other than Webster.also heard Farrell is having knee surgery at the end of the month and will be out for 6 months.

| I agree the Webster deal does look like it could have been happening for a while and suit both sides. We get a high earner of the books and potentially have his salary for 2 or 3 players (assuming we still exist) and he gets a 2yr deal, ours had only one left and a job after rugby. He is also mates with their coach which I suspect only helped the deal
