Agree.
Here are the goal-kicking percentages for the season to date.
Minchella 73%
Lilley 75%
Keyes 77%
John Kear has repeatedly said throughout the season that his goalkicker needs to be at 85-90%.

| Quote Nothus="Nothus"I think people just love looking for conspiracies and controversy even when there isn't any. It's also very poor form of John Kear to be making those sort of comments to the press when he can't prove his allegations. He just looks like a sore loser.
We outscored York 5 tries to 4 and still lost, something that should never happen in a game of RL. Couple that with the knock on in the last minute, the foot in touch when grounding the ball, and the intercept passes and the only people JK and the players should be disappointed with are themselves.
I still think it will come down to the wire between ourselves and York for fifth spot, but I can see us just missing out and finishing sixth. I'm fine with this as long as Chalmers didn't foolishly budget for us finishing in the top 5. That's my only anxiety and it will continue to be so until the funding distribution is evenly spread irrespective of the final league standings.'"
What are these conspiracy theories? Because of all that happened yesterday was a timekeeping mistake which was picked up first by Damian Irvine in the commentary and then myself.
Never did either of us say there was a conspiracy theory so please don't jump on the bandwagon with that troll Bull Mania.

Still waiting for clarification on timekeeping - it’s either done by an RFL official or a rep from BOTH clubs, so blowing the hooter early as alleged by some will have been a joint decision or an RFL decision.'"
I've already replied with the timekeeping protocol for the Championship - it's controlled by the appointed RFL timekeeper - not the York representative as was the case yesterday.
This isn’t nitpicking. The game needs to uphold basic standards and playing the full 80 is one of them.

Well there's the timekeeping, then JK's issue with York bending the rules, and others were also kicking up a fuss about Ryan's disallowed try. All of these from just one game! Last week we had players disputing Swinton's first try and posting pictures on twitter of his foot in touch etc. My comments weren't aimed at anyone specific btw.

No worries mate, if you look on Twitter I've just retweeted Damian’s thoughts on the game yesterday.

| What a fantastic city to watch RL in. It will be a shame when they move. On the game itself, I thought York were worthy winners. I never thought I'd say it but i thought they were a better coached team. No-one stood out for York but they all knew their jobs. For Bradford Ryan obviously stood out, Crossley never stopped, Minichella looks class but not involved enough. Webster is knackered. Lilley has a great rugby bran but is far too slow to make it worthwhile.

Actually it was after the first 2.
Lilley missed the penalty goal which was our 3rd attempt at goal.

| Agree with much of what has been said - we basically lack a little class and decision making. The number of speculative trying scoring passes we throw in 50/50 decisions is too high, stop panicking in the opponents 20.
Props are an issue as we lack the raw grunt to gain metres - how often does Crossley back into opponents? To be fair to York they were well coached and knew roles - far fewer basic errors and despite being out on their feet in the last 10/15 minutes managed go forward to get the drop goal.
Referees and TJs will never see the offences a partisan crowd does which would be forgivable if the obvious and blatant were dealt with.

| York have always been very well drilled under Ford. I think we’re less clinical than they are. However if we had a more settled spine this wouldn’t be as much of an issue IMO.
We’ve had 15 different combinations at 1, 6, 7 and 9 in our starting 17 in 26 games so far.
And that doesn’t include when we bring on a bench hooker or change the spine during a game.
For me that’s too many changes to play in a settled manner. I’d be interested to see how many York have had in comparison. Not all these changes have been tactical, a lot have been down to injury.
