| You from the club?
Is there a set in stone plan to survive?
Don't do a mick and go all cryptic.

totally agree - i'm sure there's a proverb about being grateful (or is it greatful?) for what you've got - where's FA when you need him

Do you have a beard?
Hang on - if people on here know who you are - they shouldn't be allowed to play this round of "guess who"

The strong feeling that the Bulls are in the RFL plans for the restructured set up they will bring in. Many journalists have been saying this for some time that we will not go down. I said a month or two ago that if reassurances were given to our new owners in private then that possibly explains why we are not panicking about spending money till the closed season when we can do it properly and sign players for next year ------- in the championship wherever we finish this season.
This is only speculation but I wouldn't be at all surprised and the championship or SL2 whatever it is called will be a very good division when Toronto join it along with a stronger Bulls.

Thats how I have seen it since announcing Toovey. There has to have been some assurances made to him for him to come halfway around the world into this mess! I wouldnt be surprised this is why they arent panicking about visa issues either because as long as he is fully in place for next year that will be all that matters

Agreed. The more FT sides we can get in that division the better it will be. The less players will be lost to the game, and sides will be able to keep their junior prospects together for longer.
I personally think it should be ten FT in SL and ten FT in CL/SL2. Both competitions would be of a higher standard.

| I put on here after the Sheffield game I was talking to Chalmers after the game. I said to him Toronto must of had assurances of an easier path to Super League than the current system and his reply was Bulls would be back in Super League within 2 year
If Bulls finish in the bottom 2 this year fully expect the RFL to move the goal posts and relegate whoever finishes 10th. Shame Halifax won't be anywhere near 10th place, that would be extremely funny

| The vast majority of people feel the Bulls should have started again in Ch.1. The RFL did everything they could to get their choice of owners in to the club. They then put themselves in the firing line by keeping the Bulls in this league. Why?
If they are happy to see the Bulls relegated in 4 months time they should have put us there now and replaced us with Toronto. They fought to keep us here.
It does look like they want us in the second tier along with a handful of other decent teams.
Yes we once were a big club results wise and we are not that any more. But, we are still a relatively big club with far more potential than most Championship clubs. SL feels to be sliding backwards to me and if they believe Chalmers and Lowe can build the Bulls again with possible plans of a new stadium then I would push for the Bulls to be kept in the second tier if I was the RFL.
This is all whispers at the moment but I believed this a couple of months ago and I believe it now. I do have my fingers crossed though as a back up plan. Our owners can't say that is why they are taking things easy but if they have been given the wink wink, nod nod from big Nige then I am giving them the benefit of doubt over their reluctance to be in the papers every day.
I am not concerned about losing our position in this tier but it will be nice to earn it by finishing 10th and stop Nige having to explain his reasons for not demoting his "favourite" team.

The plan isn't the championship.

No tash.
Not because we are RFL pets. We have very important friends fighting our corner.
