Today's t&a article states that Karl Davies is on crutches after damaging his ligaments in training. It also lists Ferguson as being injured, despite running an article about him being '100% fit' not so long ago.

Not even the first game of the season and we already have Davies, Ferguson, Blythe, Fleming, Baille and Petersen out injured!

Do we even have four props for Sunday?! Sidlow, Clough, Tahraoui....who else? Walker? Bates??

I think our chances of winning this game have just taken a complete nosedive with this news

Davies is a big blow as you would hope to have four out of six props fit and changes my view from the loss by 2 points to loss by 10 or so. But his is a recent injury, we have known or suspected in Fergusons case of those injuries for weeks. Only Davies and Baille were involved in the friendlies, so the squad for the match will have been training together for the last few weeks. So yes probably Walker, with for example Walshaw and Ulugia (better defence than Shaw?) joining Tahraoui in the 17.

I think it would be rather dangerous for us to go into Sunday's game without 4 props to rotate from. We still have 4 reconised props to use in Sidlow, Clough, Tahraoui and Bates.

Baille had a hamstring injury? vs Cas I think. Don't know about rest.

We play a 6 prop game MoiMoi/Wilkes/Barlow/Hopkins/Emmit/Acton/Walker are fit and raring with Spencer not far off after surgery in August
