Yeah I imagine so, although to be pedantic I think the exemption was for the length of the contract; Hull KR will probably sign them all up anyway.

| Speaking of Rervers, Con Mika is OOC and I don't think there's a quota spot available over at East Hull.
Anyway, is there news (spurious rumours) on the additional assistant coach?

| Theyve just signed 2 aussies up havent they, dobson is on his was so should be a spot there.
Would be nice to get an assistant with some experience, but who is available.
Cant wait for the close season so we know who are players are next year, would love a huge announcement before the London game and another before the Hudds game.

England national so would be free from quotas, with experience, could do a lot worse I suppose, just wonder his fitness with him weighing 22st .

| Not a signing but a new business team, who will all invest equally will be coming in to run the club according to the T&A.
All this talk of sound financial footing and experienced businessmen runni g the club must be worrying and upsetting to those who predicted the club to fold following the wages problem

Read that, all seems to be moving in the right direction.
Bigger, better, stronger next years that all we can hope for.

I did think this would get a thread of it's own actually, it may do soon anyway.
My first thought when I read this, and I'm probably wrong, but wasn't a large number of board members and investors one of the main problems the last lot had? And they basically couldn't agree on anything?

Large number of shareholders, yes. Large number of investors, no.

| Part of problem was that previous shareholding split meant no single person had a majority. Caisley was largest shareholder but not majority shareholder so could be outvoted. Presumably OK will retain majority shareholding this time. Interesting that it mentions sutcliffe as an investor. Common perception has been he was just a figurehead and didn't actually put any funds in.

| Could one of mods split posts about new investment off to a new thread?. Doesn't make sense to have it in rumours thread.

English players who aren't English still count on the Quota.
For example, Chase takes up one of Castlefords Quota spots
