| Nobody cares about Wigans injuries, who got sent off or how bad of a side they think Bulls are. Can only play whats in front of us and we were the better team on the day.

| Just got back. That, tonight, is why I watch rugby league, why I watch Bradford, and why this club must survive. The atmosphere in the stand was something else, we've celebrated and sang in finals less than we did tonight.
It was an absoultely fantastic performance by all the players and the fans in the circumstances. (not interested in how wigan played poor/man down/injuries blah blah so don't even bother. The wigan fans I spoke to afterwards were excellent, took the defeat for what it was and wished us well)
Our players never took a backwards step, the fans sang from kick off to after the final whistle, all the players and staff came over to the fans after the final whistle and celebrated like we'd won the cup...simply awesome, a real "I was there" night.
So, it was one of the best nights I've had following bradford, but it was also one of the worst, when the players finally stopped dancing and singing in front of us and walked off, and we stopping cheering and singing(seemed a long time after the final whistle) I turned around and saw more than one person close to tears, with a "what now?" "what if thats the last time?" kinda expression. And I walked back to my car feeling empty.
I don't know what to do now.... But I know it involves a drink and plenty of hoping.

| Yeh I saw quite a few people in tears or close to tonight. I'm not usually easily moved but I felt pretty close to a few tears this evening. So proud of this group. And who knew Tommy Burg could sing and dance?

So proud.

| One of the best nights of rugby i've been to.
Think i've upset the Wigan fans by saying how poor the referee was. Apparently they got nothing and the red card lost them game!

| Wigan won the penalty count 15-6 so they got plenty.
I'll just add, that in Twenty Six years of watching Rugby League, I've never seen anything like the scenes we all witnessed at Wigan last night.
Such was the intensity of the emotional experience, making supporters of all generations crying with pure joy and exhilaration.
As I signed off commentary duty from the DW Stadium (with little voice left):
"Trevor Foster is looking down smiling radiantly tonight, because Bradford is a famous club with such a proud history and heritage."

He is the first to put Hock on his booty all season! Awesome tackle. No technique, no good read in defence... just pure passion and guts! Loved it!
Like I said, the Bulls fans last night were the best at the stadium since we moved there in 1999. That includes saints and leeds fans winning play-off games and even the millions of Hull KR fans when they got promoted. You could feel what it meant to the fans. I have heard pundits in the past claim that the crowd doesn't make a difference, last night proved that theory wrong. When the fans upped the noise, the players upped their game. Fairplay.

The bit in bold especially, the atmosphere was tangible, in the 2nd half it actually felt like we were shouting them over the line, you could feel the link between pitch and stands.
The wigan fans I spoke to last night were excellent, I can name a couple of grounds were we might have had some grief, but the wigan fans knew what the night was all about and wished us well. good luck for the rest of the season, I just hope we can make a return trip next season.
