| Notice their splitting the figure. The 248k is just money pledged. It doesn't include the money raised by other fundraising like car wash, sat open day etc. Might explain some of different figures that were being mentioned at total. Also mentions total of 500k to be reached by Friday is overall total including other fundraising, auction etc. Not just the total pledged by fans.

| Now here's the bit I don't understand. No matter how much is pledged by Friday we won't have the money by Friday, it will still have to be collected. So if we pledge the amount by Friday when is the money ACTUALLY required

well pledge [age says immediately they announce pledge is successful. It also mentions the initial 500k is to enablt them to continue past mid april. So basically sounds like they expect to pay up by end of next week. Agree it could do with clarifying a bit.

| Doesn't look like many season ticket holders have pledged so far, think the T&A said a couple of thousand had. We need at least 5k to pledge, i know times are hard but i would expect nothing less given the price of the current season tickets.

| It's one hell of risk for people to pledge 500k to keep taxman happy then have 6 weeks to find a buyer. Unless you get lucky most buyers will be waiting for admin as they will need the initial outlay to be small so that once they have control of the club they can then invest. Then the money is put to Proper use and not paying old debts. Glover did this and paid the smaller suppliers to keep us in good relations with them. I know you don't want this but think from a business point of view this is probably the best way forward. Hood saying had no approaches for the club says to me because they are waiting to come out once you enter administration.
Bulls will be ok either way.

| I suspect they will email or contact by phone where email addresses have not been provided after the weekend.
I have pledged, and I expect a call. If they get the players on the phones they may just get more than the pledge amount out of some people. Hello Ryan?

The part that worries me though is if we do go into administration we run a massive risk of losing our best players, especially the home grown ones. To lose such as Whitehead, Bateman, Koppy etc would be a bitter pill to swallow.

| If it was me I wouldn't even ask for glass of water, because compared to having no club it's nothing. There may be some harsh realities to come at some point and hope some a ready for them.

Cheers supercat but there are a lot of people prepared to chip in for the Bulls. And I agree admin is better than no club, wish you well.

cheers for the thought and I so hope you're right if we do end up in admin, I really do, but what if there is no buyer when we're in admin? I see or hear no real evidence of one so it would be a massive risk to assume there is one. Unless we're not being told the whole story.....wouldn't be the first time...

| Quote: Mission "According to the latest statement, if the club get £500,000 by Friday they have a month to six weeks to find an investor.'"
Peter Hood was very clear on Radio Leeds yesterday that they wouldnt take the fans' money unless they were very confident that the extra money would be raised.
If I were a Bulls director I'd definitely be taking legal advice as to how I would stand if the club took the money and then folded in the next few months (especially if I had given the bank a personal guarantee).

| As a Wigan fan over the last forty years, I have seen some good and some bad times for our club. But to think that we escaped administration when Dave Whelan bought the club was an all time low.
I look now at what Wigan as a club do for our community, with Mr. Lenegan fully focused on what he can put back into the game and I just wonder how much harm would have been done if we had not been around.
Fast forward to present day and Bradford are facing the same problem.
As a club, I think that Bradford is one of the best in Super League, the supporters, the sportsmanship of the players and the passionate backroom staff at all levels.
To therefore contemplate a Super League without them is unthinkable and therefore fans from all clubs should do their best to pledge what they can.
I rang up last week to pledge and spoke to a realy nice young chap called Wayne who could not beleive how many fans from other superleague clubs were calling in.
We all hear of the Rugby League family being a special part of our game. Well I urge you to join in and help another club so that we can all enjoy our game for years to come.
