| I think the T&A article sums it up well.. he has a lot to prove. I'm not convinced he has all the ingredients needed to be a top SL player but I wish him well.
I think he needs to make a good start alongside a strong centre and if his confidence is high he could be a handful. He will get a clean slate from me and I hope supporters give the lad a chance. I would hope this signing means we haves managed to move on some of the dead wood from last year. I await further announcments with interest.

With a back-line from: Lulia, Purtell, Walker, Ainscough, Kear and now Pryce that looks pretty potent to me, who's in your back-line maybe we can compare?

| I like the sound of Pryce being Lulia's winger
Everything we hear about Lulia says that he is a very good defender and excellent at releasing his winger into space - very much in the Shontayne Hape mould. If that is anything like true, then Pryce could have a field day in attack, whilst hopefully Lulia will help him out in defence.
I'm not saying the Lulia and Pryce are going to be the new Les / Shontayne, but I could see them being a decent combo at the very least
And Purtell and Kear for other wing doesn't sounds too bad either....

Fox is a decent enough winger on his day, is it Mellars from Crusaders? think he has potential. The rest = average. If we're including Full-Backs include Kearney for us.

Mathers - not the player he ever looked like becoming
Cockayne - good squad player
Fox- needs to stay away from injuries to get back to where he was a couple of years ago
Collis - Not seen him yet, supposedly a good nrl player
Mellars - went well for crusaders last year, looking forward to seeing how he goes for us.
Morton - cops a lot of stick for 1 mistake last year v Cas in CC game, needs to push on, still young
Walshaw - first pro season after being a big player for our academy, Hudds (unsurprisingly!!!!) were after him, another im looking forward to seeing pull a jersey on this year, likely to be if injuries happen to others.
Apologies for turning this into a wakey 3/4s thread!!!!

| I think most of us in London would agree he showed flashes of brilliance here last year but didn't produce it consistently or often enough. Sometimes he ran around like a man possessed; other times he didn't look interested. Sometimes he lumbered around looking very slow indeed - other times he was by far our best player. It was maddening because he has all the ingredients - hopefully being back at Bradford, something clicks. I'm not surprised he hasn't stayed with us.

| Well all I can say is Cokehead won't handle him. Pryce will have a field day against 'lower' teams but I think Ainscough should start against better teams as he has pace when chasing back Nah he scored a fair few tries against good teams last year
Wakey do have some potential in that back line, Fox and Mellars? But for the rest I really think they will have a tough season. I want you guys to do well but if Fox gets injured you have nothing out wide.

But if those "piddly wingers" have big (Collis or Mellars) to cover that shouldn't be a problem in defense & as you know KP's almost invisible in defense.
Could be a tough year for you.
Bradford & Cas for the SL basement scuffle for 2012!

| Looking at the squad pictures on the Bulls site they've updated it and taken pictures of the players in the new shirt rlhttps://www.bradfordbulls.co.uk/playersrl
...apart from Michael Platt. Wonder if this has anything to do with the length of time it's taken to announce Karl Pryce's signature?!? Is another announcement due?
OT it also has Purtell listed as a centre despite giving him the number 2 shirt.

| Since when has Dean Collis been a big centre? lol
As I have said, Pryce's defence is no different to any other wingers.
