| Briggs was pretty shocking. I'm not surprised he was dropped. I'd bring Platt and Royston back into the centres. I'd think about Walker filling in the backrow for one of the kids.

Who would be at fullback though? I was thinking the same thing till I started writing the team down. With Briggs dropped, Kearney is at SO. With no Sykes it has to be Royston at FB.

| That is a good shout having Ah Van at full back. He looks pretty secure under the high bomb whereas Royston needs to be able to offer support to the halves.
Glad that Platt is back - his defence has improved greatly.

| All being well I's probably go for:-
Royston
Ainscough
Platt
Ah Van
Raynor
Kearney
Herbert
Lynch
Diskin
Hargreaves
Elima
Walker
Donaldson
Koppy
L'Estrange
Burgess
Bateman
Think Whitehead needs a rest and although I haven't seen anything of Bateman, from what I've heard I would give the lad a go.
We need a quick play of the ball against Leeds and Diskin and L'Estrange running at them from dummy half. Their marker tackling has been pretty poor from what I have seen of them. The Leeds fans are saying the same thing on their forum.
I'm not 100% on the Raynor and Ah Van partnership, but I think Raynor gains some good yards and I don't like the look of Walker in the centres. Maybe Ah Van and Royston could be swapped around too.

I've been saying this for the past three week. Five missed tackles at Hull, another five at Salford.
I just think he would benefit with a week off/game off.

If you get a chance to see the highlights from our game against Hudds on boots n all our marker tackling was shocking. A try by ferguson (I think) there were huge hole for that try.

It was a big hole indeed, big enough that Katie Price would have been proud of it.

I have also mentioned it a few times, but in all fairness there hasn't been much opportunity for rotation with injuries. this week is the ideal time to give him that rest. I think the pack I've gone for this week looks ok especially with Leeds a little short in the forwards at the moment.

yeah i noticed a couple of occasions where this was the case. In Diskin and L'Estrange we have two players who you would think could take advantage of this. Unfortunately we haven't seen much in the way of taking advantage of our opponents weaknesses recently. More the other way around.
I really do think we can win on thursday if the players just put in solid performance. I know both teams need a win, but realistically this is our best chance for a win over the easter period. Catalans are on a roll and at this stage IMHO I don't think we are anywhere close to competing Warrington. I hope I'm wrong of course.
I know it's a tough period of the season, but all I want to see is some solid performances in the next 3 games.

Shad scored most of his tries for fax supporting the halves from Fullback which is his natural position. Ah van loks more comfortable on wing for mine. dont think its the game to try swapping them round tbh.

| Langley injured again?
Shoulder...is this the same shoulder he had an op on during the off season and then during pre season? Great loss to the team, concerning how injury prone he is these days. I thought his ankle was a concern not his shoulder again
