You could well be right. I certainly wouldn't put money on it either way round. Well, not my money anyway.

| Full page interview with George Burgess in today's League Weekly about his move to South Sydney.
Was surprised to see it in the paper when the Bulls haven't even officially announced he is off. Wonder why we didn't make an announcement?

Is it actually a done deal yet? If not, the Rabbitohs will be looking to reduce spend at the moment to try and save the Inglis deal and, who knows, it could be a case of every little bit helps.

| It's a done deal. He's having a leaving do tonight at Dewsbury Moor where he played as a junior. I don't think his salary will count with him being in the Toyota Cup team anyway?! Not sure on that one, but I doubt it.

| If the Rabbitohs need a Burgess to release, the other one they have takes more cap space.

| Interestingly Connor has tweeted to say that the deal still hasn't been confirmed and that one paper has jumped the gun, I wonder if we're having issues agreeing the terms of the release (or the fee)

Didn't I read somewhere last week that the main issue seemed to be whether it would be permanent or a loan move? Seem to remember Souths wanted loan, but Bulls wanted permanent if he is to go. Can't remember where I read that though, it was either a link on here somewhere or on Connor's Twitter. Seem to think it was a quote of Peter Hood's though.

If that's the case I reckon the Bulls are just being realistic. If he makes the grade out there then he wouldn't be coming back, loan or no loan, and we all know it. If however he doesn't make the grade .............

Yep agreed. I've been saying since the rumour started that a loan move doesn't IMO benefit the Bulls in the slightest. Glad they see it the same.

| Great move by the bulls to get 25k for him plus first refusal. If he makes it, he was always going to go downunder and probably for free. If he doesnt weve got a decent fee for an unproven youngster. And if he falls in the middle, we can have him back

| rlT&A Interview with Georgerl
I hope it goes well for George down under because he will be in the middle of a media circus and the pressure will be pretty intense. It's a massive challenge for a young guy who hasn't broke into 1st team SL Rugby yet. As long as he is going there to knuckle down and improve his game and not for the celebrity lifestyle I am confident he can make 1st grade with Souths in a couple of years time.
rlInterview with Tomrl
Tom on the other hand has opted to keep a lower profile and aims to work his way to 1st team at the Bulls out of the shadows of his Brothers. He sounds like a pretty level headed young guy who recognises his weaknesses and knows where he needs to improve to be a SL player. It will be interesting to see who makes it to 1st grade Rugby first.

good bit of business as stated above if loaned and did well would not have come back anyway.
