He'd benefit by being the owner of the Bradford Bulls playing in a new stadium, notionally able to raise sufficient supporter interest, sponsorship and investment to climb over the 2 clubs capable of mounting a genuine promotion campaign and whichever moribund outfit we'd need to be better than to finish 11th in SL. Thereby bringing the club back to SL (and Sky money) without spending a sixpence of his own money.

When you're able to get people to work for free and supporters to give you their season ticket money without putting any matches on, and when they ask you basic questions about your role in the destruction of the club, more or less say 'eff off', then who's to say you can't pull this off.

I've often wondered what his motivation is. In recent interviews he said he wasn't all that enthusiastic about the job and he'd palmed it off on Sawyer for long enough. It really shows in how the club is run as a whole. If the owner can't be d then why should anyone else?
