Yeah he played at hooker in the two World Cup qualifying games against Spain and Russia back in 2016.

Perhaps Milnes may end up on the bench with a view to playing in the halves and moving Keyes to 9 to give Vila a rest.

Seems a good call. These days hooker is really a half with a bit of extra tackling involved, and Keyesy has already shown he doesn't mind putting his head where it hurts. He reminds me in many ways of one of the old stand-offs from years ago, Dave Stockwell, he was of similar build (though he thickened out as he matured) and also used do to far more tackling than was really good for a bloke playing in the halves.

Milnes played for u19s on Thursday so doubt he’ll be involved.

Well they’ve named him in 19 man squad so maybe there thinking of a short stint off bench.

I would say if he played a full game for the 19s, it's more likely he's been named in this squad as cover because one of the halves/hooker has a slight doubt. They expect said half to play but there's a small chance he may not be able to, hence the inclusion of Milnes.

Well it looks like the Bulls 20 minute switch off is happening in the first 20 minutes this week. That's good, as it could mean a good performance for the rest of the game from Bradford
