I'll be disappointed if Offerdahl doesn't get a visa, and it does bug me that it seems like a plausible scenario, he's probably the new import I'm most keen to see play.

I'm trying to come up with any, even remotely, likely scenario where the club wouldn't have announced, or the press wouldn't have picked up on, any terminal hitch in any of the previously announced signings, and I can't. Maybe some of the assumptions about other players, are just plain wrong?

I can only assume that the fed trained rules apply to Kolpaks only and not to full EU passport holders.

It would be pretty pointless for the EU to bring in rules about enabling EU passport holders having the right to work all countries, if that could be overturned by some secondary subterfuge like 'fed trained' conditions being attached.

It's true to say it doesn't stop them being employed per se but it prevents them being employed in their normal profession as [i rugby players[/i, so it's the same thing by the back door, however you look at it.

Someone posted on Facebook that because we signed Adam Henry before he was 21 he doesn't count.....I checked and he was 22 when he signed.

Plus I believe French players don't count as they are part of Super League (Catalan Dragons) where as Poland, Samoa, Tonga, Aus, NZ aren't.
