It sucks, but it sounds like they're having serious problems with that pitch. If they moved it to another date later in the season rather than shift it by a day they'd still be screwing everyone who'd already made arrangements.

It is a fair point. Leave the fixture scheduled for Friday and it will probably be called off screwing everyone who has arranged to go. Call it off now and re-arrange for day after gives a chance to re-arrange plans and avoid a fixture pile up later which would still screw Fridays arrangements already made

To be fair to the Broncos I think they've been screwed by circumstances. To be sure, some noses are going to be put out of joint but they don't seem to have any real options.

But that pitch will be remarkably playable on the Sunday when the RU lot are playing on it....

Ticket office was closed after the game. Can't get up there during the week. Bugger it, not going.

Advance rail tickets cannot be refunded or altered to a journey to High Wycombe
Full cost of booking of a room at Travel Lodge can not be refunded, nor transfer to another Travel Lodge.
Payment for match tickets will not be refunded if non attendance.
Utter Crap for us away supporters, and a warning for the future attendance for us.
But
I deeply feel for the passionate hardcore Bronco supporters we have met at the Stoop and Leyton Orient who are now tasked for a journey to High Wycombe. An attendance which is likely to be abysmally low
This is not the way to create and promote a fan base nor a financially sustainable model for the club's existence.

The RFL have to make a decision this year as to how much they want to have a super league club in the capital and how much they want/are able to fund that.

Broncos' management are an absolute shambles. Heartbreaking to see the genuine advances made by RL down here squandered by these clowns

I'm sure that if you get in touch with Broncos they will refund the match ticket. I know the train situation well being a regular away supporter and getting shafted on advance tickets when fixtures are moved.

We've done similar but luckily decided to stay 2 nights at travel Lodge Aren't you able to
change to a later train back for a small cost ?
