| So far so good but still lots of room for improvement. Watching Widnes vs Hull I was wondering how we managed to lose to Hull given their lack of playmaking options.
Seems so much depends on how you start the game nowadays. It's no surprise that in the two games we lost we made very slow starts. Once that happens you can be on the back foot and let the opposition get an unassailable lead.
If we can sort out the slow starts we give ourselves a much better chance.
As for the creativity this comes off the back of go forward. It's easier to create when you're on the front foot. Good to see that Sammut and Kearney are in the lead in the attacking stats. It's something we've not been in for some years.
Sammut reminds me of watching Dave Watson, unpredictable, sometimes amazing, deceptively strong, sometimes infuriating. He's got an X factor.

| We've made the most attacking kicks, kicks in general play, metres and offloads.

I believe Holdsworth played against us, but wasn't playing against Widnes on Saturday night. Perhaps that explains their lack of playmaking options at the moment.

| I remember Hull's pack, particularly O'Meley being a real handful.
John Holdsworth could've created havoc behind that pack on that night never mind Daniel Holdsworth.
Think we lost that game up the middle early on. We cam back into it later and showed great fighting spirit but it was too late to affect the end result.

| Missed tackles:
1. Chev Walker, 21.
(2=. Shane Rodney, 19)
2=. Elliott Whitehead, 19.
2=. Danny Addy, 19.
Next Bull is Jarrod Sammut, 12.
Missed tackles:
Bradford Bulls, 151. 4th worst.
Injuries will dictate our fate off the field, this stat will dictate it on it.

| Missed tackles has long been a weakness of Whitehead. He's does 80mins every week so he will be bound to have higher totals than most simply by making more attempts but he does need to tighten up this area of his game if he wants to be anything more than an average SL player.

| The lesser ginner Farrell has made >180 tackles without a miss this season apparently. Whithead is missing something like 1 in 8 or 9, which is very high, irrespective of time on the pitch.

| I'm not surprised. He does seem to miss a fair few. He needs to improve this part of his game.
