The RFL are up shiite creek if Bradford can't fulfill their fixtures as Leeds have to play them 3 times....would make the league positions a total farce.............

So who is going to pay back the £200k advance ....

I am worried for Bradford,I really am,their demise could well have serious implications for the rest of Rugby League.I will pray for you lads and hope you come through, this is no time for parochial attitudes we all need to help.

Surely £200,000 in a supporters trust now would be better than the £500,000 wasted from the pledges?

If we'd wanted to go bust with two weeks notice in April then that's totally what should have happened. We didn't. Given the extent to which you lucked out you're not the last word on how to deal with your club being in danger.

If the Bulls fail to fulfill all their fixtures they can't just expunge their record because, as you rightly say we play one club three times. So, to keep the competition even, they would also have to expunge all the Magic Weekend results. Not sure what value they would place on the bad publicity from telling everyone that MM was total non-event but I suggest it would be a bit more than the figure they intend to loan (not give, incidentally). Not that the money would guarantee anything anyway, as it stands.

so for the Bulls to survive they need at least £200k instantly (loan from RFL), then need backers to buy club with enough wonga to keep HMRC happy circa £500k+...as HMRC wont accept a CVA as seen with other sporting clubs. So club folds, newco takes over asap but has no debt to HMRC or RFL £200k loan.......no paddle and approaching waterfall rapidly

What they would have to do is to give all clubs two points from their Bradford fixtures, so Leeds would get six, and the rest four.
