Put in some good hits tbh, not bone rattling like Chase's hit but good strong hits nonetheless.

I guess the coaching staff saw a lot more of what he was capable of in training that we did on the pitch. We will no doubt be going into next season with a tight playing budget, I think he is one player we can afford to cut.

I remain baffled why some fans think a player who will be 25 next season is suddenly going to now develop into a top 8 SL level stand off.

Agree with Donny, but back to the thread Briggs had two clearing kicks charged down,
don't think he's Super League material. However wouldn't be the first to come back and haunt us!

Briggs had a mixed game, he looked lively enough in parts but as just said, he had 2 kicks charged down and was ropy at times too. In fact, he looked like a lad who really could do with a full seasoj under his belt, playing week in, week out, to bring him on.

Which is, er, what he's had arranged.

I think he could be OK. I've seen far worse. Certainly will be much better for the experience.
