| A really enjoyable game for a fairly neutral. Sykes was fantastic, not for the things he achieved but the effort he put into everything was remarkable. And the best game by an English SH since the last millenium.

I appreciate Sykes' efforts, but its gotten to the stage for me now where his faults and mistakes just overwhelm everything else.
He knocked on in a good position, threw two absolutely terrible passes out towards Halley's wing (one which flew straight into touch) and then tried to intercept a long Wire pass from which they went the length of the pitch and scored.
I don't want to seem too harsh on him, because it was an improvement on last week, but he still isn't good enough to play 6.

| yes its another loss, yes we conceeded points...but be honest, is anyone surprised by those points?
surely the silver lining today was the number of kids that gained some valuable experience...and although they may have been lacking in some size, they certainly werent lacking in heart, enthusiasm, passion and determination...something the majority of senior players have lacked in the last few weeks.
i for one, am a much happier bulls fan tonight!!

So you should be fella, a performance full of character and some pride in the shirt - which is what the Bulls fans have been demanding.
A couple more experienced bodies on the pitch and it might have been a very good win indeed.

i second that...and whatever macca has or hasnt done with the 1st team, the fruits of his labour with the youth structure at the club were on show for all to see tonight.

| Magnificent effort all round consider the players missing and the injury to Scruton.
Thought the kids kid a great job and we weren't far of nicking the game. There's some real reasons to be positive about the future when you look at the young players at the club.

| We were never favourites today. Personally I expected us to take a sever kicking off of Warrington. But we looked a lot more settled this week. We had a better idea what was going on and we showed some enthusiasm.
Yes we lost but, and I know we hear this from the club every week, there ARE positives to take from this game.
Given we were playing with 2 new wing/centre combinations as well as another new half back pairing, we didn't do too badly. The young lads stood up and showed they deserve their spots in the team. The old heads who should be leading the team did that.
I'm disappointed with the loss as all fans would be. But I saw a team that tried which is something that we've not seen for a while.

| After being at todays game i feel alot better that last week. In my eyes it went the same way as the challenge cup tie, fought back from 2 tries down, huge amount of effort, 1 dodgy ref decision when momentum was swinging our way then in the last 10 minutes Warringtons little bit of class came through. No complaints on our performance, everyone put in a good and solid performance just wished we seen abit more of Southernwood on the ball. Think Glenn Hall had 1 of his best games making solid yards, same with the rest of the pack. Although Sykes threw a few bad passes i think he organised the team well and we always looked a threat. All in all a good performance but just edged out by a team full of quality. No complaints.

| Think Southernwood will only get better with experience. He looked tentative at first, to be expected but some nice touches later on. Give him a couple of years and he could really go far.
Today I thought was a great effort all round. Hall had his best game for us and the effort from L'Strange was superb. Sykes worked his ass of to create play, it didn't always work out but you could see they all wanted it a lot more.

| So proud of the effort and commitment from every player today.
The forwards stood up well - especially Worrincy and Kopzcak!!
Southernwood wasn't bad and he doesn't look too suspect in defence for his size.
Sykes & L'Estrange were both great, created more chances. Sykes made 1 bad error in defence and didn't reach touch from a penalty, but apart from that went well.
Hopefully that will give them some confidence to kick on for next week.
Beaver was excellent (apart from letting the ball bounce from the kick off. He knew he'd messed up though and put his hand up straight away.
You can see why Tony Smith is so well repsected too - stayed to shake every one of our players' hands. Well done Tony.
