Newton's a tough one he has to maintain the form he has at the minute to make it a worthwhile deal.

I'd resign Newton were not going to get anybody better. What about playing Newton at loose and interchanging Godwin and Rinaldi at hooker. I dont rate Jamie Langley, the size of him he should be smashing opposing players but they jush crunch him every time, i'd have him on the bench and use him as a prop/2nd row.

Agreed, but when he is on form, and when you can tell his hearts in it -like yesterday- he is one of, if not the best Hooker in the league. Buderus my ar$e, what's he done this season

I think Newton has one more season in him.

Can't see that working, we need Newton at Hooker, he showed last night that he can see opportunities and take the defence on himself if he needs to.

I suggest those who have been keen to jump on Newton's back may sometimes forget that he's been stuck with massive stints since Godwin was injured? And has obviously been playing with injuries himself.

I would image at the stage of his career Newton will be looking for one last contract in the region of 2 possibly 3 years I can't see him signing for a year.
