Let's not get carried away, it was a better performance not a good performance. Yet again decision making at key moments let us down, composure when it mattered dribbled away - oh for a play maker. Unfortunately l also have to question why Rohan persists with Addy in his customary role, trying too hard or simply not good enough - the latter on today's performance. Unusually as others have improved Addy has got worse, also don't think fully fit today. This season could have been so much more with a little application and direction. Shield games look likely....the bell begins to toll.

Best 2 things addy did where the grubber for mellows try and the hoof which marched us 40m down field after a penalty.

Thomas had a good game and his kicks to the touch line where we'll judged, though haggard you put some decent kicks in also, can't wait for Chisholm to come he and Thomas could work well together, not sure if we will miss addy past2 weeks be has not played well.

His long pass for our 1st try was sublime to be fair.

Don't post often but I thought we annoyingly played well today! Annoying considering we could be home and hosed if we played like that, or even 80% of that, every week.

As I said earlier in the season, the HB was always coming just in time for the middle 8s... As the Bulls said last season, we learnt lessons for the mpg loss and would implement them over our 23 game pre season. Unfortunately us fans have suffered by this pre season mode and we have shown we don't have the quality to coast which ultimately cost Jimmy his job.

We are now putting together a decent looking side, and with some luck on the injuries, we may have sneaked the mpg again but we have left ourselves short of the top 4 and might pay the price of resting on the laurels.

Thought the lads gave everything today. We shouldn't be so far behind Leigh but we are! Addy started poor but got better until he had his right eye completely shut for him and was clearly struggling to see ie why he stopped and did the 360 turn.

Would you bother bringing him back though? Hasn't played in ages can't be near match fit.
