It did seem highly likely that something was afoot behind the scenes given the nature and implications of the RFL statements, but this intrigue would have Machiavelli admitting defeat.

So what if it is indeed Richardson of Wasps, his trump card in negotiations with the RL might be to threaten to convert the Bulls to the other code ... now that would get Big Nige shuffling uncomfortably in his chair ... just a thought

It wouldn't work. The Bulls is a franchise and can be bought and relocated anywhere, but in this case would probably be a fiscal disaster in terms of support, but converting it to Union would not work as where would the brand fit in within Union?
The RFL could certainly cobble a Newco with a different name if required to play at Odsal, but that would mean starting as a the majority of Bulls have said from the bottom and no debts clean slate etc! Though it would mean the RFL suffering financial discomfort and I certainly have no problem with that!

So why should all those expressing interest now bother to do all the work required by the RFL, if all this is going on behind their back. Plus whats this about Bulls being a franchise? They were a trading company the same as any other club.

To an outsider something does not smell right about this. Plus I would not accept shares in a company that would never yield a penny to me. Yet more murkiness associated with the Bulls club.

Business registered, web domain purchased. Both these done just in case he gets the club not because he has got the club.

However if all this is true I would expect an announcement from the RFL stating they are no longer looking for people to start a new club in Bradford.

Reading this part of the RFL statement

It is hoped that many of the supporters and stakeholders of Bradford Bulls would naturally, in the absence of any other Bradford based RL club, switch their allegiance to the new RL club.

Most of the insults won't work anymore
You're not a big club anymore- err no we are new
You're not in super league anymore- err we never have been
And so on and so forth
It will be a club with no history
It may be called Bradford and play at odsal but will have no links to previous Bradford sides

Even if they are willing to pump some funds in its going to take some serious investment in playing staff to avoid "the drop" on 12 point deduction and KR 3 times.

So Green cuts a deal where he takes shares in new company instead of payment of the debt he claims he his owed Duffy keeps a role in the new company so Green has a puppet mouthpiece with out being involved directly. Very complicit

After receiving threats from players on social media this will be my last post on here for a while but with Richardson and Thorne at Odsal yesterday telling the players they are the new owners and will honour all existing contracts and getting everyone, my son included to sign a non disclosure form about this meeting and then plan to force the RFL into releasing the club before the deadline. The RFL need to either put this deal through today with contracts already signed between new owner and players staff but reject certain people involved because some of people involved won't pass fit and proper person tests. It's never been easy following this club with rotten people at its core but we all remain in hope that one day we'll get the owners we deserve.

Nothing's going on behind their back. It's going on behind closed doors. That's quite the difference.

We are seven weeks and two days into an eight week administration, the processes for which will be submitted to a court upon its conclusion. ... which has been "announced" but is actually four days away.

Submissions of interest have been invited should it come to liquidation. It has not yet.
