| Great to get the win, and I thoroughly enjoyed the battling performance. The defence was mainly excellent, and the crucial phase was when we kept them out for 3 sets on our line in the first half. That wouldn't have happened a few weeks ago!
The only thing that annoyed me was all of us being herded into what is laughably called the West 'Terrace'. Given that we were barely above pitch level, even towards the back, it could hardly be classified as a 'terrace'
I'm glad we only go there once a season - I'm a pretty tall guy and could barely see quite a bit of the action.

| I certainly hope their new ground is available next year, or I won't be going. Not paying good money to be herded down one side. Impossible to see either corner flag from the rear of the terracing near the centre. I am not a tall guy, and spent most of the afternoon bobbing and weaving trying to see the action. Add to that, standing to one side to allow Wakey fans back to their end having collected ale. Segregation, what segregation! Not a happy experience, apart from the result of course.

Cas fans started at that game, Widnes game was 50/50 (culprits been banned and Widnes fans kicked off again at Hull no surprise) and a firework comes from god knows where - could have been anywhere, sounded loud in the N stand though.
Hardly reason to brand us scum.

| Fireworks thrown in from outside the ground, apparently. Stewards were looking over the wall at the alleyway behind the western terrace.

| Great win for us today, a close game has I expected.
I thought that bang was a blown speaker, hope they catch the f*ck wits who threw the fireworks.
Got to say credit to Wakefield for getting the fans threw the gates in the last few years a certain club like Huddersfield should take note top the league, one of favourites for SL and its the birth place of RL and they still can't bring in fans absolute joke.

Given this:

We were able to enter the Wakefield ground without been asked for tickets in fact did not even see a Steward until well inside the ground (after walking the whole length of the stadium.

| So we get segregated because Wakefield can't control a small group of their own "fans"? That's just great.
And it was second only to Hull KR for the worst view ever. I had a great view of Lulia's double but that's about it.

| I know they were annoucing the new Dr Who yesterday but I thought time had stopped still for the last few minutes, nail bitting stuff. Still job done and two points in the bag and after the win over FC last week more points taken from one of the other contenders for the playoffs. I would not be surprised if the last spot was decided on pd - we are 138 adrift of FC but could get our nose in front of Cats and Wakey with a few decent wins.
I did not think the stupidity with the fireworks was anyone in the ground, but sad to see segregation at any RL venue.

| Well played Bulls, over 80 minutes you showed more savvy and class than we did. Should be an exciting race for 8th, we're not quite out of it yer but you've deffo jumped ahead of us now. Good luck.

Like the wakey stewards thinking it was Bulls fans before they realised it came from outside, lucky it didnt land next to someone, dont think people are stupid enough to throw fireworks at themselves.
Used to like going wakey when we could stand behind the posts but considering there where 8k+ in attendance the smart move was to put away fans down the side or all the home fans wouldnt have fitted in.
Big respect to the travelling Bulls though, glad to see plenty of us there.

| Pleased to win a game in which we showed plenty of 'grit' but not much common sense at times, particularly in the first half. You'd think they'd never heard of putting pressure on the opposition, the way they threw possession away with speculator passes.
If Wakey want to point to a reason they lost the game they need look no further than that first half, they had much more ball and territory, all be it on the back of a number of penalties, and they should have been out of sight by the half time hooter. The line defence was awesome at times from the Bulls, so much credit fort that. Funniest bit was the late penalty, when Sibbo with the headphones on [presumably on Franny's instructions had two fingers in the air along with most of the Bulls crowd imploring the kick at goal - but they went for the try and got it!
I though we had a much more controlled performance in the second half, made some super breaks and scored some cracking tries on the back of the pressure we created. Just the sort of game most people expected to be honest, the sort of game that makes you glad to love rugby league. That said, why do I wish we didn't get the jitters [iquite[/i so much?

| Wakefield certainly had the chance to win it in the first half with the amount of ball and field position we gave them. We scrambled well but we really need to learn not to make it so hard for ourselves. The second half saw the tables turned and it was Wakey dropping the ball and taking the wrong option.
I thought our problems with the ball in the first half stemmed from a lack of direction. Gale’s kicking and passing was pretty poor with the pass into touch being a lowlight. When L’Estrange came on we improved and in the second half Gale played better. The intensity we showed when we scored the 2 quick tries was impressive.
