pretty certain that articlel wasn't on T&A website before lunchtime today as I made a point of checking to see if they had covered it. Wont be first time time they've put an article on and backdated it either. Dead giveaway is the comments which dont start til 12pm today.

And that still doesnt explain way they handled headlines about being parttime when they knew it was incorrect. They went with a sensationalist headline to sell papers.

To an outsider, this issue of a winding up order, by HMRC, is to be taken with a pinch of salt. In my view, it is a (scaring) tactic on the part of the 'Revenue'. They certainly won't wind up any company, as long as there is the slightest chance of getting their money. I'm willing to bet that most clubs have been the subject of at least one of these cases, at some time or other. I know ours has.

Lowes needs to be less thin skinned and show some manners. Ross needs to engage brain before opening his mouth sometimes.

It's a good job he's in a sport with basically no profile whatsoever if this is how he reacts to the least investigative newspaper in the country. He'd be doing a Keegan in every interview otherwise.

I haven't seen much evidence of a genuinely fractured relationship between the T&A and us. But were one to exist I'd say it was pretty wide of the mark to suggest it was 50% Ross' fault. There's no way the questions asked by Ross warranted the scornful and petulant responses he'd get back week in week out.

I agree Pumps. Some of the post match press conferences I've seen are awkward in the extreme when you see how Lowes responds to some questions. No need for it. Even if Lowes thinks Ross's question is dumb there's no need to be so passive aggressive.

Money troubles

Talk comes to us of a lower-league club struggling to pay its bills. This side, which plays in the Championship, is on thin ice financially we are led to believe. They have been doing well on the field in terms of results in recent seasons, but off the field things are much darker and its future could be precarious.
