Agree - but with respect they were never a big city club which would attract lots of attention like the Bulls did

| rlPotter felt stabbedrl
"[iThis is a sad day for rugby and I am sceptical and am not sure if we should have been here. Questions need to be asked. I would like to thank the fans for their support and all they have done in the past,” he added.
Asked whether he felt if he had been stabbed in the back, Mr Potter replied
Thanks for all your hard work Mick, hope you get another post and move on.

| Quick one, what makes it worse is that most expected us to get a severe pasting last Friday night given the week the palyers and staff had, but we got a performance rich in character and spirit - gave us hope for the future - now today!!!!!!!

| Something smells here. I think BG is being manipulated behind the scenes and Adey is right.

Hmmm i wonder who that could be?

| Really sad to read those comments from Potter.
I was one of the (very!) few who thought he did an admirable job at Saints and I felt sure he would be a good coach for you. I think what he has achieved for you this season in the circumstances is borderline miraculous and it's so sad to see him cast aside like this.
I understand the realities of Administration more than most, and how powerful a process it can be when used properly, but that doesn't stop this being a crying shame.

| It's a disgrace what has happened and please don't fall for that guff about Noble working for nothing. It's all part of caisley's plan. When he buys the club from the bent administrator Noble will be the Coach - and he will be paid. Mark my worlds. Potter has known about this for a week or so.

| I know BG is not a popular man at present, but could he do anything else? He has no money, he could have sacked potter and co last week or next week, but in the end he would still have to sack him. Until someone shows up with cash the only thing he can do is cut costs. Either revenue goes up or costs down. Everyone can call BG all the names under the sun, but in the end which ever administrator had come in the same would have been done.
For me it just seams a shame that all the goodwill and money was used up by the board, prior to administration. I'm still not sure what Hood hoped to acheive calling for donations. Now is the time when donations are needed to help the club rebuild, post administration, but it seams all the money from the people was drawn in prior to administration making sure that even the fans could not buy the club once it went down this road.

Be quite sweet if Potter was nominated for coach of the season wouldn't it!

| What do we do come Sunday? Assuming we have a team that is. Applaud the fact the Noble has stepped in to give us a chance or boo him off the pitch?
To let the best coach that this club has had in years go is a scandel. I'm ashamed. But I'm not entirely sure of whom. Someone.

| Why did he sack Potter, why not make one or two of the high paid players redundant? We can get by without a couple of players but not without a coach, it's criminal.
However, as I have said on the firm, we could have worse people coming in to help than Brian Noble, presuming it is him. Would prefer Mick though.

Why when they can sell most of them on (admittedly at a reduced fee) and still cut the wage bill?
