And a lot of the top players playing for Warrington, Wigan ..... are being paid peanuts.

| Our recruitment last season was bad. Looking at the names we have signed for next season, it is going to take some phenominal signings to get the team anywhere near the top 8.

Seriously, those are just embarrassing comments for you. There was no Wigan bias tonight whatsoever. There were a few dodgy decisions, but they went both ways. It was a simple case of we played very well, Bradford did in the first half, but not the second.
Back to Bradford fans, and I don't think you should be too downhearted. Think where Wigan were a few seasons ago and where we are now... Bradford need to emulate that.
Consider it a transitional season or two... but I want to see Bradford competing back up the top end of the table again.
You beat us once last year, and you nearly beat us with twelve men in the Challenge Cup this year. Injuries haven't helped your season.

Moving from this point your recruitment has been poor. Panic buying. You'd be better off trying to develop the young players you have than signing people like Ah Van who can't catch a ball. The emphasis (for all Super League clubs) MUST be on junior development. Matt Parish at Salford has quickly indentified this as an area Salford must improve to seriously challenge for honours. Same for Bradford. Same for most clubs in Super League.

| We've been told at Bradford that our junior development is the key and we will benefit from this. That's half the reason why so many were happy to keep mcnarama cause we were told he has put emphasis on the junior development and we would see the rewards. Though looking at the results it was a load of Bull.
Junior development though is pretty hard to do when the first team is $hit. It's easy to blood in youngsters to a winning team. The question is would those youngsters stand out as much in a losing side.

Yes, all we have to do is poach the coach of the World Champion club side, find a world record fee to take their best player from them. Then get the RFL to kibosh Dobsons move to another side yet overlook it when we come calling.
Then we can cheat our way out of trouble then try and take the moral high-ground whilst our shameful fans sit all smug and arrogant whilst completely blinkered to the whole issue.
That is how we will emulate Wigan.
Tell me though, how do we get all the money to do this when we are skint?

| Whilst we are at it, maybe a good idea to send a few players down the yellow brick road with the tin man to see if they can get a heart.

I've been saying this since 2006 but the club know better. If you bring decent youngsters into a side with a losing mentality they'll pick up bad habits and never realise their potential.
That losing mentality is now fully ingrained now.
