Agree about 1 and 3...#2 came with a decent rep though (the best of the 3 signed that year) but never really settled and after the first match never really lived up to the promise, did he?

I take your point.
Although, literally launching Long over the line to score in that first game was worth it!!

The match that was postponed cos of the snow IIRC? That unfortunately was his high point of the season. I think it came across that he didn't like it much over here?

Thought you were on about Inglis & his missus for a moment there.

Quite a few players look like they spend too much time on the weights and not enough on cardio. Fresh ideas and tactics and a proper use of rotation, not just the bench but the squad as a whole and we may just see some inprovements. But what do I know?
just give me a year and then Id happily do it. Hope there is a vacancy in a year when Clawson's contract is up.

I quite like Gibson. If we aren't getting Millard, I'd take him. If we are getting Millard though, it seems a bit pointless having another centre when we'll have Sykes and Crookes in the squad already.
I'd rather have Gibson than Sykes, but Sykes is already contracted.
One thing people seem to forget too is that Gibson can play as a makeshift hooker, so he's not a bad player to have in the squad.

So you rate Gibson but not Tansey?
The fact that he couldn't hold down right centre in a Leeds team desperate for someone to fill that position speaks volumes. Many have doubted whether he has the pace or size to be a centre, and despite some nice passes to his wingman his defence has been awful for us. If McNamara wants to tighten Bradford's defence out wide next season then Gibson would probably not be a good signing. He's had very little game time at hooker to prove that he could make it there, and he's been incredibly injury prone which has impeded his development at Leeds.

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

We don't want anymore injury prone players, thank you very much.
