Has Green been declared insolvent yet? I did wonder if that was on the cards given everything that happened. If so the claimants will get naff all.

There can't be any trouble ahead for us, the old company was liquidated this is the biggest part of the problems we are facing now trying to get a totally new company in place..

And from that, going into Bradford Bulls Northern Limited, it shows the company status as "In Liquidation"

I cant see there being any issue as a new company but credit where credit is due, The club released a coherent statement about the issue before I personally had even heard about it

it has the smell of their legal advisers providing the statement, having heard how good the usual PR is.

Well the pantomime continues with a new co that emerged from the mess of late last year, with no assets or liabilities as it was established, is being sued. It could only happen in Bradford!!!
Of course it can't happen, people could sue individuals involved, or the RFL, or perhaps the administrator, but by law the new co is safe, unless there is some dark deep secret being kept by Cha/Lo and the RFL.

Given the recent form and lack of communication it at least gives us something else to ponder.

Nah, according to some on twitter, some claiming to be some sort of media guys/students, they think because we play in the same kit, colours, logo that we're accountable. Frightening how people get so confused between COMPANIES and CLUBS.

The article in the guardian mentions that some of the individuals making the claims are being represented by the same solicitor that is dealing with the Cas/Denny Solomona case.
Those muppets on twitter might not realise the difference but I'm pretty sure that solicitor knows what's up.

The only thing I can think of that might drag the newco into this is whether there was any tupe stuff going on between the two companies. We all thought BBN Ltd was liquidated but that doesn't appear to be the case, so who knows.

BBN is liquidated, so unless there is an issue on timing TUPE can't apply.

Given the RFL gave a 2 week deadline to submit bids to form a new company to run a team in Bradford, I'd have expected legal claims to happen in that period for any TUPE claims.

It isn't liquidated yet, that's the point. Go and check on companies house, the company is still in the process of being liquidated.

How CAN they still be being liquidated? They can't have anything to BE liquidated!
