Good first half and we came together towards the end of the second after a wobbly spell! Enjoyed the game, handling errors were an issue again they need to work on this in training-poor referee today.

Its a step in the right direction, lets see if they can put on back to back performances and can concentrate for 80mins. Half back pairing very promising, majority of the forwards running their weight and more, koppy being outstanding especially for Jefferies try. Keep moving forward game by game and never know

Excellent for 60mins today. Still have that dodgy 20 min spell where we let the opposition back into it. If we could play a whole game like the first half we would be looking at some decent scores I think.

Thought Royston is looking outstanding at fb, I can't see Kearney taking his place on this form. Some strange team selections once again - Sykes on the wing not centre?

Apart from 5 minutes Salford were dreadful. A shame to see a good team on paper wasting their time. Only Mat Smith seemed to care.

Anti-Bulls garbage so soon? The reason Salford looked poor is because Bradford's forwards bullied them out of the game. In fact the Bulls only have themselves to blame for not sticking 50+ points past them and keeping Salford to zero.

Very pleased with that.

I thought that we played the first half perfectly. Solid sets and a good kicking game keeping Salford penned in their own half. We waited patiently and were able to post a few scores in the last 10 mins of the half that won us the game.

I thought we came out in the second half with the intention of trying to put a load more scores on Salford but unfortunately some of our moves went wrong, we gave them the ball and put us on the back foot.

It was nice/encouraging to see that whilst we did let them get a couple of tries, on the whole we looked organised and determined to keep them out and after absorbing a lot of pressure we went on to get a try of our own and kill the game off.

Stand out performers for me today were Burgess, Koppy and Langley. Some unbelievable drives and tireless running. As impact props Burgess and Koppy had exactly the desired effect and couple that with L'Estrange coming on (who for me is our best player at the moment) it was too much for Salford to handle.

I like Briggs more and more every week. He seems to be settling into the role and is obviously benefitting from having Jeffries along side him. Jeffries introduction seems to have given us a lot more shape.

I didn't like our backline at all today though apart from Royston and Crookes, the latter looked quicker than I remembered and didn't put a foot wrong, the former is now in my opinion our new Mr Dependable. I almost don't want Kearney back in at full back.

Ah Van is a winger and we missed him coming in to take the first drives which he is very good at, whilst he didn't do anything wrong at centre, his impact was lessened. Platt will be a welcome return at centre. Whitehead also had a quiet game at centre and Sykes was poor on the wing.

Drop Sykes next week, get Platt back in as a centre and shift Ah Van back to the wing and we're sorted. I'd give Crookes another go before Raynor comes back.

To be fair, Silverwood put in a good stint for Salford too... icon_wink.gif

Good 1st half once L'Strange, Koppy and Burgess came on and gave us some go forward. We looked less convincing in the 2nd half for the first 25 mins where we overplayed when we had the ball and tried to throw too many miracle balls, that led to us giving Salford too much ball and our defence allowed too many offloads.

On the plus side I thought L'Strange, Burgess, Langley and Kopczak had good games as did Briggs and Jeffries. Less good were Diskin and Donaldson who will be under pressure with players returning from injury like Addy. Any news on why Sibbit and Platt weren't playing?

Yep agreed on Donaldson. If Sibbitt is fit next week he has to play going on current form.

I'm tempted to tell you just to grow up but i will try a reasoned response. An average Bradford performance could have put 50 past Salford? Thankyou for backing up my view.
