| Quote: Maislebugs "In one off season Leeds part company with their head coach who has won 2 Grand Finals and took them to Wembley plus the assistants who have been part of their last 3 Grand Final successes and replace them with two blokes who were part of their derby rivals most successful period, one who has failed at first grade level and one who's record is average at best?
What an astounding turn of events? GH brought BM back to be a assistant to Bluey and within the month had to give him the head coaches role. Then he set off to Oz to find assistants and returned with a bloke from Morley.'"
Is this the same GH that brought in a certain Tony Smith that had been relegated with Huddersfield and finished close to the bottom of SL on a few occasions?

Neglecting to mention the promotion and complete domination of what is now the Co-Op Championship there. Leaving out facts to support an argument just isn't cricket.
Pretty sure he was only in charge for the one season that they finished bottom too. So your facts are also incorrect.

Tactfully put Bullseye
All we need now, is a certain Mr Harris for the U18's and there will be dancing in the streets of Headingley!

| good luck to Jimmy. None of this takes away what he did for the Bulls as a player.

| I dont blame Jimmy for signing for Leeds given that he was up for repalcing Macca, along with a few others only to lose out to an Aussie. Our lads always have to make way for the lads down under!!.
Saying that I'm sure Mr Potter will do a good job for us!

Jimmy Lowes' record as the number one in charge of a club is woeful. Therefore I doubt he was ever a serious contender.

| If Lowes was the best they could manage I think Leeds are in for one hell of a transition, especially if the rumours are true about Matt Adamson joining the coaching set-up. As much as I rated Lowes as a player, controversy and discord has followed him at the clubs he's been at as a coach. Ditto Adamson. I really don't see what either will add to the set-up - surely we need an experienced Aussie (Dunemann was first choice apparently...) not one of Brian Mac's mates and an antipodean restauranteur with a massive ego...
It's looking more and more like Hood has pulled off a real coup in getting Potter. Sometimes I'm glad I live in Exeter!

| To me it smacks of Leeds getting people in on the cheap. Hetherington came back with no-one from Aus (so far) despite supposedly going to recruit an assistant & other players. I wonder if Caddick Inc is not doing to well in the current construction industry meltdown.
