Ohhh........
After highly stressful day at work - this
I really don't know enough about the ramifications and politics of the situation whether Caisley is the answer - but unless there's something I missed does this consortium have significantly more money than the present regime - not to my knowledge so we still have the invisible plans which we have to trust even though we have no details.
I just want my club to survive with a future I can be confident about and to be competitive - with a chance of winning most games we play - we haven't for too many years. Ideally in Super League but if in another league so be it! Oh - and to stop being the laughing stock/sympathy bucket for the rest of the rugby league.
On another comment noticed someone commented on Hood's mistake of keeping MacNamara in role for too long - that is clearly the case when we consider that Sykes was one of the highest paid at the club - is it any wonder we're in the mess we are!
Really not looking forward to tomorrow and the weekend!

Mr Hood has stated a lot of things at fans forums which have been shown not to be correct. |

I was only reporting what was said at the time, and I certainly don't recall anybody suggesting at that time that there was any doubt over the comment.

It was reported in the T&A that Peter Hood was going to reply to Chris Caisley's comments today. But there has been nothing said, so far as I can see.....nothing on the Bulls website or T&A site
Another PR mess up by the current board?  |

The comment wasn't said at the time. It was said at the forum which came much later in the year. |

Well, I dunno how much of it was true, but I was told a story when Caisley stepped down as chairman in 2006 that he knew the Harris thing was going to bite us in the bum and that the club was pretty much heading to where we now find it. So Caisley's big plan was to let the club fall over, have the debts cleared and come riding back in on his white horse and save the day.
However, it would seem that the currently maligned board managed to bail out the titanic with teacups. At least for a few years. It's just an unfortunate turn of events which has lead us to the current sorry state we find the club in. |
