I believe he said HASN'T been mentioned.

Even taking all that into account those stats are a worry - if we were to sign him. Also if he were paired with a winger like Ainscough we'd obviously have big issues with defence on that side.

I mentioned Clubb, it's been mentioned to me more than several times now. The other rumoured being Howell.

I remember him making his Rugby League debut in Harlequins first ever game back in 2006 when Deacon kicked the penalty on the hooter to see us escape with a 18-18 all draw.

He's in his early 20's so has plenty to offer the game and has been one of the better players down at Harlequins the last few years.

If it is Clubb, it seems to me we're again looking at players who can play a couple of positions and have potential to be quality, even if they're not quite there yet.

Clubb has played wing, centre & second row for Quins, so it again provides excellent cover, even if not first choice.

I'm very happy with the squad depth as it stands. Apart from the halves, which I'm sure news will come forth eventually.

Also true. Ainscough is poor defensively. But then it's far easier to coach defence than unique elements of attack that both possess. Namely blinding speed and great line running.
