Madness the Giants prefer Milner to O'Brien. Strong rumours he's going to Fax which would be gutting as he's easily best Hooker in division. Be interesting though as Fax don't have biggest of squads (they were very very lucky with injuries this year) that would be a lot of their budget in one position.

Be typical of Bulls though for fax to get O'Brien and we end up with Hallas. God I hope that rumours not true.

AOB would be a cracking acquisition. I hope we are offering Segerayo a deal for next year. Sam Hallas back for a third spell doesn't fill me with confidence.

Soooooo deflated with that. Yes he works hard etc but he's a L1 player sadly.

If he ends up being our Hooker we're completely stuffed. His distribution is painfully slow. He's no where near big enough for prop.

His only position is 13 but when you compare him to Thompson, Baitieri, he's not on their level.

Hallas - a really underwhelming signing in my opinion. I don't get this one. Where is he going to be utilised ? His distribution, speed, and general skills will have had to be massively improved to figure regularly. Nice guy, passionate, runs his blood, etc. But...

Can understand why they'd release this signing this week whilst everyone is thinking about Toulouse but on the same day O'Brien signs at Fax.. we announced Hallas!

Hopefully he has been signed as a squad player, but don't really see what value he adds to the current side. Feels very much like a step backwards and on a two year deal??!! Bizarre.
