Bradford already tick that box.
I think realistically the only option to the club if staying at Odsal for the foreseeable is the main plan is to close the Rooley Avenue terracing and sell that part of the stadium off for retail and leisure with a smaller stand built in its place.
This would improve facilities and also lower the capacity to around 16,000 improving the clubs IMG stadium points.

| Not sure how appealing that bit of land would be to anyone Mick when there's already plenty of vacant retail units around that wouldn't require a complex construction plan as would be the case on the steep slopes of that end.

| I'll never understand the desperation of some fax fans to see us go bust. I never want to see them or anyone else go bust.
The spin they put on, to create a narrative that suits their agenda.
Fax sign a player we might have been interested in. "it's because Bulls couldn't match Faxs finance, Bulls are skint"
We have a decent season "because Bradford were one of the highest spenders in the league, it's unsustainable and they're going bust"
Followed by "I have zero sympathy" bla bla bla.
I don't think Fax are exactly in great shape and maybe they should be more concerned about themselves than us.

| When they stop being bothered about us is the time to worry. I'd like to get back to the situation when Leeds fans carried on like this instead of pitying us and saying how nice it would be to have a proper derby game back. Could be a long wait since I think that only getting a brand new ground will see us in Super League. Keep buying the Euro Millions tickets.

I'm an investor in a Vietnamese sulphur oxide mine. My girlfriend put me on to it when my mother died.
She's so thoughtful. We've never met in person but was happy to accept the transfer from me for the £175000 from the sale of my mum's house and make the arrangements because she lives round the corner in Mai Chau. It's an unbelievably good investment after only 1 year my shares are worth 2 293 074 vietnamese dong!!! The purchase of the Bulls and Odsal is all part of my 5 year plan!
Thanks
Keith x

| £15m could go a long way to creating a decent sized ground which would meet our needs. Nothing flashy but a big improvement none the less...
- Install a new 3G playing surface (can be hired all year round generating an income; can also be used for training and would free up need to pay/maintain Tong)
- Build a new covered terraced stand over top of existing popular terrace, install hospitality suite at top which is needed for IMG.
- Mothball Rooley Lane Terrace to reduce capacity
- Seek long term investment to refurbish Southbank Stand (maybe to include new open terrace)
As a comparison, Wakefield's new stand cost £6m and seats 2,500 plus hospitality. We would need stood capacity of 5,000 minimum.

You've given the game away at last MBBB, we often wondered who was the "secret" financial advisor to Caisley during his tenure at the Bulls.

Where has this 15 million number come from? I've not seen anything to suggest we have ownership with that sort of disposable income so it would need to be raised from some other means.
I do think Wakefield is an interesting comparison though. Was the 6 million figure the muted cost before construction started as the figure more often goes up as problems are found! And I can I imagine there would be plenty of unforeseen extra costs at a site such as Odsal!

I was informed from within the Club that looking at Private Investment to fund any renovation and selling parts of the ground off. 15 million was the minimum figure required to make suitable improvements.

It was just a figure quoted elsewhere... not sure exactly how credible it is tbh, but if correct I still think a sensible layout change and development is workable.
I've been involved in a few multi £m leisure developments over the years and it all comes down to how well you manage the contractual aspects. A design and build can be very cost efficient for instance, but any deviations or changes can add dramatic cost implications. Also long term upkeep can be more costly.
Not sure under what terms Wakefield and the council tendered the project but I'd guess it was a D&B which means any changes will have increased that initial £6m cost.

how would they be able to sell parts of the ground off to fund the improvements, given their only looking at buying the lease?. Im pretty certain Bradford council who own the freehold would be the beneficiary of any funds raised by this method and not the bulls.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| Hirst gave an interview or podcast where he said that if Bulls were to bid for the lease they’d be asking the council to allow the club to do more with the site, which I assumed meant pushing noise curfews back and additional licensing etc

| Council didn’t receive the funds when the bulls sold it to the RFL so why would they get funds now? Any buyer of partial land sales would get a long lease with however many years are left, is it 100 plus? Whether this is attractive enough to anyone looking at buying is another argument
