Yes it certainly doesn't look like Mutual Agreement considering the terse and to the point statement made by BPA regarding Irvines departure.

| Well this is interesting. It would also suggest that links between us and BPA are not as close as thought now.

| Matthew Shaw also reporting a club Bradford owed money to for CC gate has been paid. Given no clubs are out and squealing, the original CCJ FB post has been taken down and the club itself is resolutely silent it does make you think that someone's nose is out of joint. Has someone at the Bulls upset ickle Aaron?
As for BPA Bullseye, they did say they were sharing office and admin functions so if it's an acrimonious split someone has some recruiting to do? But in the days that AC was expecting the stadium to be resolved it can't be a good sign.
Someone above was asking about signings. I was told they were to be announced mid aug after the big fanfare of 'We have news about Odsal'.
We know Odsal will be the death of us but I still don't see it being sorted as there are too many petulant character about..

| It feels to me as if there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. As we know Chalmers tends to go quiet when things aren’t going so well – remember 2017? We went from one c0ck up to another and there were no weekly columns in the T&A then.
As far as Odsal is concerned it looks at the end of its life. Look at the Touchdown and the portcabins, no way are they fit to use anymore. The terracing looks a bit dodgy in places as do some of the barriers. The old place is starting to look like Belle Vue.

Indeed. Chalmers, Rimmer and the Council don’t strike me as being the people to sort this one. The club are skint, the council are skint and the RFL are skint. Where's the money coming from?
So, we either stay and spend some non-existent money on it or look elsewhere? Looks like trouble afoot at BPA. Rent would be high at VP. There isn’t an obvious option.
As for the CCJ stuff there have been a few Twitter spats between various people which don’t make anyone look very good. Some people need to wind their necks in. The Bulls certainly aren’t the first or last club to get a CCJ. Unfortunately the recent history means the journos leap on our misfortunes more readily. I can’t really see why the club would allow CCJs to come about unless there is a cashflow issue or incredible back office incompetence. Frankly, it could be both. This is RL after all. IIRC Salford had a bunch of CCJs when Koukash was backrolling them.

| Quote: Betsy Bulls "I agree Rickyf1. If our cash flow is knackered and we’ve had a £100k transfer fee in and a cup run inc televised games that we can’t have budgeted for I would have hated to see the original one.'"
Fair comment. However, there has been a fair bit of talk about the first trading years accounts (2017) of late, and the £500,000 loss contained therein. Ive absolutely no inside information, but others have suggested that this loss was mainly down to settling the court case brought by players and staff for unpaid redundancy/holiday pay, owed by the previous management. Im not going into the whys and wherefores of the new owners being responsible for the old owners mismanagement, as thats above my pay grade, but the staff were plainly entitled to press for someone to pay what they were owed.
This payment appeared at the time to have not been budgeted for (which is hardly surprising) and the general opinion seems to have been that somebody covered it. My guess has always been that is was Sir Graham Lowe.
I don't know anything about his personal finances but its doubtful we would just chuck half a million into the pot without expecting some, if not all of it back. Two years down the line we are suddenly selling a young player for £100k, and despite some good cup draws, we appear to be not exactly flush with cash. Maybe its gone towards repaying our benefactor?

| Just listened to the Forty Twenty Podcast broadcast last night. In the first few minutes Garry Schofield stated that he doesn't need a certain Championship Chairman ringing him on a Tuesday Morning and questioning and berating him regarding comments about that clubs particular finances that he had made on the previous nights show(Mon July 22nd). To be fair to Schoey I've listened back to that Podcast and it's clearly his colleague Mark Wilson who is pushing the agenda regarding the clubs finances. So although publicly AC is keeping quiet ,quite clearly behind the scenes he,s not taking things lying down which probably is the right approach to take.

| Why has Wilson got an axe to grind with the Bulls?
Schofield is the most irrelevant figure in the sport.

| Total RL
Bradford Bulls have seen a move for a new player collapse after the deal was blocked by the RFL.
TotalRL understands the Bulls had agreed a deal to sign a young player from a Super League club earlier this month, but the move was blocked by the governing body due to concerns over funding.
The decision was made as the RFL didn’t have enough proof to suggest the Bulls were in a financial position to fund the deal on top of their current spend.
Each club is given a maximum spend limit based on several income streams. Exemptions can be made if a club can provide proof of funds that go beyond their maximum figure.
In the last 12 months, both Leigh Centurions and Widnes Vikings have had the same sanction placed over them following their own financial issues.
It means the Bulls will not be allowed to recruit any further players before the upcoming transfer deadline on August 9th unless they can prove they are in a position to fund any new contracts. Any outgoings would potentially help them in their attempts to facilitate incomings.
The news comes after it was revealed the Bulls are currently dealing with two separate County Court Judgements, though an official from the club confirmed to League Express the matters will be resolved in the coming days.
Earlier this month, the RFL also took a proportion of the club’s latest central distribution instalment to settle monies owed to two of their opponents in the Challenge Cup.

| 'I understand...' again. Strangely just at a time when talks with the RFL and CBMDC are coming to a head?
No mention of another Ch club who are going to have some severe cloth cutting to do next year as their now partial board has been taking business lessons from Green...only dismissive mentions of other clubs having signings blocked.. clearly the source wasn't mentioning names...other than ours of course, again with the CCJ business mumblings, admissions other clubs have them....again no names other than Bradford. Grudging admissions that the CC money has been paid....
You could almost surmise that someones trying to destabilise the club at a critical time...it's not needed as clearly it looks like AC's taken his eye off the ball...
