Mick would be best advised sticking to what he is good at, which is commentating on the matches.

And in any case, he will only be able to relay what he is told which may or may not be the whole truth. Time will tell I won't be losing sleep about it though!

Belcki's not as bright as he/she thinks and will slip up eventually. In the meantime let's not give it the oxygen.

I'm sure anyone who works for the club would tow the company line. And even if they didn't, a number of those who work there are too well known to be "economical with the truth" to pay attention to anyway.

Can I ask, while not doubting anything you have said, why have you emailed councillors at Bradford council and the Sports Minister. If it was my kids that hadn’t been paid I would be more inclined to go see the people who have not paid them.
If my boss didn’t pay me I wouldn’t email the council or the sports minister.

Unfortunately you're not far wrong. The way of the world nowadays to complain on social media to get attention rather than doing it the most effective or even the "right" way.

I tend to agree with what you and a couple of others say. I'd be up at Odsal demanding to speak to the man in charge and I wouldn't be leaving until I did or the police turned up to remove me. If on the other hand I was the person who hadn't been paid, the last thing I'd be doing is showing up to work. If the place I work didn't pay me on the agreed day and the agreed amount, they wouldn't get a minute's work out of me until they did.

If this is true from Mabel, and I have no right to say it is or isn't, then it's a bad sign for the club, but it's a worse sign for the people who haven't been paid what they're owed. And in fact any other employees at Odsal who will surely be fearful of the same happening to them. Except the website and social media guy, that fecker doesn't deserve to be paid in washers.

Susan,

Do you know if other staff members are affected (players aren't)?
How long have they worked there?
Is this the first payday the arey expecting? (If it is even blue chips screw that up generally. It's not a sign they are going bust. Its generally a sign they missed payroll, have tried to squeeze in and failed.)
As payment was 10/07 did they get paid correctly on 10/08 i.e. this months payroll?

Why haven't you plonked yourself in the shop and told them you aren't moving until you see Chalmers? Do it!

Maybe unconnected with Susan's plight but I've heard someone is spreading lots of rumours and out right lies around. Not just online but elsewhere too. Obviously this person has an axe to grind or an interest in sowing discord. So don't believe everything you hear/read.

Probably that warehouse of Russian trolls in Halifax again...

Just to let all of you know my son was finally paid his wages. Also we tried calling before using social media . Maybe Bradford Bulls should look at issues in their communication methods and offer employees training in communication.
