I don't understand people comparing it to Bradford's prices or other clubs that rip you off too though. If your next door neighbour murders someone, does that means it's ok for you to too? I don't see anyone defending Bradford's prices, most of our own fans are annoyed at those too.'"
Couldn't agree more. I won't be paying the extra 2 quid. They will have a problem if H&S say something and also may have to que to get the wrist band which is a pain in the

Explain to me what that's got to do with your club upping prices after tickets have been sold.

The same price as that advertised when you bought your ticket.

You'll then have a situation where they have to let people in and those who've paid the extra will be unhappy. Why make what should be simple more complicated? Have they tried to explain the logic behind this?

As far as I can tell, they've gone totally silent and haven't responded to anyone, certainly in public areas such as social media.

And no doubt plenty of people will pay the extra £2 and it will make Fev some money so they'll do it again next time. Personally I won't attend again. A club only gets one chance to try and rip me off before I give up on them (with the exception of my own club who unfortunately I can't give up and have to let them rip me off every season....)
A friend of mine had if clarified with Featherstone earlier. It's definitely the stand behind the sticks (that Bulls were in last year) and the new small one just to the left of it, that they're going to rip you off for. The old stand ("Community Stand" on the back of the ticket) and the stand at the opposite side (next to the bar and other facilties) you can still sit in without having to pay the extra £2.'"
My personal view that this has been ill conceived by the club as a bit of an after thought. I can see that they are trying in to cash in, but charging supporters from both clubs (though I suspect really aimed at Bradford fans) and extra £2 after issuing tickets appears to be a bit naive to me and let's say 2000 people do use those stands all it will generate is a extra £4k and in doing it this way I am fairly sure they will not be 2000 in those stands.
Personally I hope the club relents on this and does not enforce it on the day, I suspect it will make for a packed out Post Office Road end if they don't.
As for taking your bat and ball home and never coming again that is your choice, I know a number of people that have said they are not going to Odsal, because it is a rip off. I think they are wrong to do this, but again each to there own. Personally I don't see what else Bradford could do after getting relegated in 2014, in that they would have a income stream to fill and part of this is the ticket sales - so Bradford have kept their prices high. Similarly in this case I can see why Fev want to maximize their income streams in a similar manor, just the way it has been done is naive.
Anyway win, lose or draw good luck for the rest of the season.

| I think it's the way that it's been done that has caused the upset. It's just opportunism and leaves a bad taste.
On the day will there be huge queues of people having to pay the £2 supplement? Could make for chaos if not properly planned for. I wouldn't want to be one of those staff taking those payments as they're going to get a lot of grief.

They also couldn't turn people away with valid tickets or if they did suspect RFL would come down on them hard. If they had announced it before tickets went on sale fine but can't see how they can enforce it retroactively.

I don't know why they don't just charge £20 to be seated for the entire season? Nobody would grumble at paying that as it's still a very reasonable price for a seat. Banging an extra £2 on the price because they know the Bulls are in town is a bit unprofessional. I dare say that the drinks prices will be increased also.
It certainly won't ever stop me attending but as I said earlier, it's very unfair that we Bulls fans should pay more everywhere we go because of who we are.

| How dumb of Fev to get themselves in this mess. If they'd just hiked the price and sold the tickets, there'd be no problem, but doing so after the event was asking for trouble and seems not worth it.
What does it say on the tickets? Unless they are valid only for certain sections of the ground then you'd be perfectly entitled to refuse to pay any more and just walk into those stands.
Anyway, if someone reports them to Trading Standards, it may end up costing them, as there can't be anyone who doesn't see that you can't change your pricing structure AFTER people have bought tickets.
And all over a lousy two quid, which they could've just priced the tickets at in the first place. Major fail.

It doesn't. Doesn't mention a specific stand, doesn't mention general admission.
You're absolutely right though, it's totally avoidable. Had they charged £20 in the first place, yes a few people would still be miffed about it being put up for just this game, but people would have known up front and chosen whether to pay it or not. Adding it on extra just screams of trying to squeeze a couple of extra quid out of a large group of fans they know will want to go where they did last year.
I still think it's an even bigger slap in the face to the season ticket holders if they've sat there all year and have to pay an extra £2, but I don't know if they're exempt or not.

| If the Fev season ticket holders are exempt then it's clear proof they're trying to cash in our big away following for this game.
