If it was just a mistake as stated, they had plenty of time to remove the hearing. Why did Marc Green need to attend and not one of his legal team. As stated above, not satisfactorily explained. Either way its over now and you can concentrate on the new season.

whats also disapointing, although not surprising, is T&A not bothering to report the removal of the winding up petition. They had it up as breaking news within an hr or so when it was issued yet totally ignore its removal. They seem to be very quick to print negative headlines about the bulls, Eg running the headlines about us going part time after Jimmys comments after MPG on both online edition on the Sunday and the print edition on the Monday. This is despite Ross the T&A reporter tweeting on the Sunday that Marc Green had told him Saturday night that we were staying fulltime and telling him again on the Sunday morning. Think there's been a major breakdown in communications between club and local rag which needs addressing TBH.

pretty certain that articlel wasn't on T&A website before lunchtime today as I made a point of checking to see if they had covered it. Wont be first time time they've put an article on and backdated it either. Dead giveaway is the comments which dont start til 12pm today.

And that still doesnt explain way they handled headlines about being parttime when they knew it was incorrect. They went with a sensationalist headline to sell papers.

It did seem a little late in going up.

Jimmy has an issue with the questions Ross asks I believe. Marc Green tweeted about issues too.

To an outsider, this issue of a winding up order, by HMRC, is to be taken with a pinch of salt. In my view, it is a (scaring) tactic on the part of the 'Revenue'. They certainly won't wind up any company, as long as there is the slightest chance of getting their money. I'm willing to bet that most clubs have been the subject of at least one of these cases, at some time or other. I know ours has.

Lowes needs to be less thin skinned and show some manners. Ross needs to engage brain before opening his mouth sometimes.

It's a good job he's in a sport with basically no profile whatsoever if this is how he reacts to the least investigative newspaper in the country. He'd be doing a Keegan in every interview otherwise.

I haven't seen much evidence of a genuinely fractured relationship between the T&A and us. But were one to exist I'd say it was pretty wide of the mark to suggest it was 50% Ross' fault. There's no way the questions asked by Ross warranted the scornful and petulant responses he'd get back week in week out.
