| Jeff Grayshon - Obviously.
St Hilaire - Tupou was hopeless.
Forshaw - Obviously.
Lynch over McDermott just. Both had a great workrate but IMO Lynch did a bit more on attack.
Robbie Paul and Deryck Fox? I'd just about go for Paul, they were complete opposites, one fast a out and out runner capable of great tries and the other a rather slow but great playmaker and kicker.
I'd take Van Bellen over Hill as Hill only had one decent season before buggering off to Halifax

Tough one as both were great players. Farrell probably wasn't as skilful or quick but demanded respect and drove teams forward on his own at times.
Scully had a better all round game for me, probably getting away with it more as he played in one of the best teams for a longer period and wasn't always the "go to" man that Faz invariably was while at Wigan.
I think Scully was the better player, but I'd rather have Faz at his peak and the leadership qualities. Wonder if my decision on Faz is clouded by our lack of a vocal leader in recent years.
Andrew Johns or Darren Lockyer......

Farrell mainly for the reasons above but i just feel Farrell had that extra something special in the bigger games.
You've gone and done it now. Johns Vs Lockyer. For me it is Johns. I was introduced to NRL by watching his Newcastle Knights and the class and skill he possessed as well as unbelievable aura of rugby league royalty was enough for me to support the Knights down under. For me he is the greatest of all time. Lockyer has arguably the same skill set and i can understand why someone would pick him but Johns just had a 'Va Va Voom' in attack and his tackling was top notch too, better than Lockyer's may i add!

playing wise johns had more tricks lockyer was ALOT ALOT ALOT more professional so i would choose lockyer as he was the better bloke and in all honesty there wasn't much difference in skill wise. if johns wasn't as good as he was he would of been kicked out of the Nrl. even though he is a very good match reporter for the nrl.
i dont want to comment on who was better between scully and farrell as i would be very biased and rightly so. but one thing i have to say is i never fully understood why people say farrell wasn't very skillfull and i know you didnt say he wasn't skillfull but i have read it before hes passing was imense and offload and you dont have to even ask about hes kicking skills. I really do think hes last few season at wigan did him a disjustice when people remember him as player as they think more of hes leadership abillties than hes rugby skills.

| I too would go for Farrell over Sculthorpe.
As for Johns and Lockyer it's too difficult but as they played different positions it doesn't matter.
Wally Lewis or Darren Lockyer?
Ellery Hanley or Andy Farrell?

| Sculthorpe > Farrell
Farrell was nowhere near the player Sculthorpe was.
