Whilst I take your point, on this occasion I'm not going to believe either until some sort of proof is given.

| The case was today and if Green says it's been withdrawn I believe him as he'd look like a fool if it wasn't true and lose all credibility. You can check and see if the website's been updated and the petition removed (I've not yet). Sounds as if nobody else joined in the petition with HMRC so looks like we've paid up. It's hung around a while which suggests we've been taking our time paying up.
If that hadn't I'd expect the brown stuff would've hit the fan by now and we'd be dealing with umpteen trolls going on about cloth cutting again.
Hopefully we can move on from this episode.

Actually that was put up on Friday. Its just the listing for cases due to be heard today so it won't change to show winding up order being removed.

Sam it looks like nothing was paid to HMRC. I reckon that was everybody's assumption except Marc Greens.

| It just joins the extremely long list of Things That Are Never Quite Satisfactorily Explained. I think we are on Volume XVII now.

| If it was just a mistake as stated, they had plenty of time to remove the hearing. Why did Marc Green need to attend and not one of his legal team. As stated above, not satisfactorily explained. Either way its over now and you can concentrate on the new season.

| whats also disapointing, although not surprising, is T&A not bothering to report the removal of the winding up petition. They had it up as breaking news within an hr or so when it was issued yet totally ignore its removal. They seem to be very quick to print negative headlines about the bulls, Eg running the headlines about us going part time after Jimmys comments after MPG on both online edition on the Sunday and the print edition on the Monday. This is despite Ross the T&A reporter tweeting on the Sunday that Marc Green had told him Saturday night that we were staying fulltime and telling him again on the Sunday morning. Think there's been a major breakdown in communications between club and local rag which needs addressing TBH.

I saw it on there this afternoon, and the article has yesterday's date. A friend of mine also mentioned the story to me at lunchtime having read it this morning via the T&A.

Probably best to get facts straight before accusing them.
