
< some of the moaners on this thread, can't believe it really. Well, I can. Many folk just thrive on finding fault.
The crowd was just what you'd expect it to have been, if not even a bit bigger, as the Dons brought many more supporters than I'd been expecting. A couple of years back we pulled not much over 5,000 for a quarter final against Hull and so how on earth can you expect more for a walkover (no disrespect intended, I think everyone knew the likely score before today) against a division 3 team?
The game was entertaining, played in good spirit, and the noisy Doncaster fans added much to it. Loved the chant of "Easy, easy" when they forced a drop out in the second half. i enjoyed it and I'm sure most in attendance thought they got VFM.
The club very obviously cut down on expenses and I didn't see anything wrong with that. I was also disappointed that David Bowie and Pjnk Floyd weren't booked but hey, you can't have everything. It was a low key fixture and I sometimes wonder which planet some folk are on.
