Like you say, probably typical T&A forum rubbish
But I would say that I'm getting a bit fed up of these players who can supposedly play in all sorts of different positions. They usually end up being jack-of-all-trades and master of none. Dare I say that Patrick Ah Van is a bit in that category (albiet not a bad winger)
If we're getting a scrum half, it needs to be someone who is a specialist IMO

Yeah, I agree, after all we wouldn't want to inadvertently sign the likes of younger versions of Ellery Hanley, Paul Sculthorpe or Andy Farrell would we

Wouldnt argue with that TBF. Its useful if a player can cover other positions but we should be signing them based on their primary position. IMO Ah Van's a decent winger. whilst technically he may be able to cover ,FB and SO as well, but he doesnt look comfortable in any of those positions.

| If they sign Moon then he needs to be playing loose. Wouldnt be bothered losing Whitehead if we got Moon, just move Langley into back row.

| Joel Moon has been told to find a English side, Potter is on Doggies radar but ive heard Brown and Ricky Stuart are the favourites.

| Been looking at Joel Moon on the Net
He's a good age, just 23 years old, and it seems like his favoured position is 'Five Eighth' as they call it in Oz. He can play elsewhere but his primary position would be Stand Off.
If he came presumably he'd be instead of Marc Herbert

| He's been tried at standoff, but from I can see his favoured/best position is loose. If it is him I'd guess its instead of ah van personally . Wouldn't read too much into it given rumour came from t&a forum though.
