We have also lost Paul Clough for 4 weeks with a shoulder injury and James Graham is a doubt as he sustained a back injury in the match against Leeds and is having a scan this week. He's named in the 19 but there is a question mark over him.

We never know from one week to the next who is playing and we've gotten used to it. Either we'll be up for the match or not, either you will win it or we will. Who knows! I hope it stays dry and the rugby league is good. The Bradford fans are always great, so that's one thing guaranteed!

Not saying I disagree with it, just that I find it interesting they're leaving him specifically out but not others.

maybe a case of not leaving others out until its announced their leaving. only reason I could see for doing that is to keep it quiet that they are leaving until we have replacements lined up and ready to announce. Salford maybe forced our hand a little and were going to announce nero anyway so we had to release news he was leaving, although technically we must have given him permission to talk to other clubs otherwise salford would have broken anti-tamper deadline (meaningless as that is these days )

we've never been in this position before either. last year we were playing for a playoff spot right uptil final game. years previous to that we were looking to improve our playoff position. we dont have threat of relegation hanging over us like teams in lower league positions have had in years past so effectively we have nothing to play for but pride. ideal opportunity to give some of fringe players a runout and see if they are worth retaining in a relatively no pressure enviroment.

I thought Nero was in the squad but read it wrong.

Good move not to play him when he won't be here next year.
