| What a thought Worrincy on the wing and Platt at centre, winning combination for the opposition!

| I think it shows the lack of quality wing options we have when people are even considering this!

| He flies out of the line and causes all kinds of problems whilst defending in the middle, surrounded by stronger defenders. I dread to think what he'd do put in a 2 v 1 or 3 v 2 situation on the wing. Nightmare.

| Its a possibility worth considering though I have my doubts.
I do remember that Leslie was absolutely rubbish under the high ball when he first came and his defensive liines were not good though he did have the benefit of some pretty solid centres to subsequently improve his game.
There is some credence to Worrincey's pace and power in the wing position and also to his ability to come infield for drives to respite the forwards in the same way Leslie and TV did.

| Worrincy has all the attributes to be a world class back rower apart from nous. Hopefully the best young coach in SL & his ace lieutenants will be working intensively on his positional sense up to the season start.

| If anything, Worrincy could maybe be turned into a good centre.

Not a good trait for an outside back. If you look at Pat Richards, put him in that situation and he would pressure the centre to pass, but show the winger the outside and probably put him in touch.

| I think he's worth a shot in a pre-season friendly
To be honest, he's well down the pecking order in the back row slots, especially if we are going to try and develop Whitehead, Donaldson and maybe even Olbison, so why not?
His big problem would be defence (or lack of )

| IMO he's the nearest thing we have to an impact forward now that Sam has gone. We should persevere with him in that role because we have nobody else capable of breaking the line like him in the forwards. He will improve with experience hopefully.

| Im for one a fan of worrincy, i know his defence needs improving by stop shooting out the the line, & he needs to read the game better but he's only 23 & still learning, but he's got fantastic potential, big, strong, and great pace for a forward,he runs some great angles on attack at speed which is why he gets some tries. He's not the finished article but in a year or two he could be a gem.
I see him as the ideal impact forward from the bench in the mould of our own medders!

Medders was like an exocet missile in defence, his problem was holding on to the ball in attack. Oh, and he was often used as cover at centre
