It doesn't need 10,000 most CC1 clubs exist on crowds of about 500, so with 3,000 supporters we would be the richest club in the league by a mile. Doncaster exist on crowds of six or seven hundred, they are third in the league and have made a profit for the past two years.

| I gues a lot of people will agree with your sentiements - but starting from scratch even in the lower reaches is a massive job and you would need a core of paid staff to be funded.
Still one way or another we are going to know this week if something from the existing set up will survive

| True, hopefully if we manage to get to CC1 or Championship we can keep a lot of fans. I for one will be there.

| As we also made the groundsman redundant I understand they are now in charge of keeping the grass short. Unsure yet as to how the lines will be marked though. Still awaiting confirmation

| It seems as part of the plan something of the existing set-up will be rescued by CC and if this is the case Bradford certainly could not support two pro-teams. My worry is that if even CC's plan founders there will be no time left to set up any replacement in time for next season and that the fan base will wither away or move on to other clubs so the numbers above could be even lower.

| to be honest im not sure i could stomach what has happened if caisley comes back in as anticipated - it stinks.
I think if caisley comes back now a lot of fans will be annoyed and may walk on that basis alone regardless of division or players left.

If HE comes back then the whole thing stinks. Bullbuilder or some other fans organisation needs to mobilse the masses. If Bradford wants a rugby league club it will have one, if the fans don't care enough then it won't.

Well, join Bullbuilder and change the constitution to permit this, or start some other fans organisation, then get enough support, then put in place a team of people with the knowledge, experience, free time and millions of £ needed, and mobilise them, then. I'm sick of people saying X should do this, or Y should do that.

| FA i think in reality we all know there is not a lot we can do.
I would like to protest and make it known to caisley that we will not stand for his return - but would anyone support this knowing it may mean the end of our club as their are no gaurentees about anything at the moment.

I'm pointing out what fans of other clubs ie Rochdale Hornets, AFC Wimbledon, FC United of Manchester have done to save their sporting favourites. Fair enough if no one agrees let's just leave things as they are.

You're right mate to push our model as it is the only way forward!
Hornets went tits up and entered adminiistration in the January and a group of fans started the whole thing up within 6 weeks by mobilising the fans and getting a load of help from Supporters Direct to get things like bank accounts sorted out. The RFL played their part and even in the run up to our first game we were still getting players signed and head tests sorted.
The first season was very traumatic but eventually we clawed our way back and paid the price of the Old Co which was a -9 points start and even got close to a play-off place. Season after season we have got better but we have a much smaller playing budget than everyone else and I think that the credit for that goes to John Stankevitch and his team of coaches. We punch above our weight and NEVER SAY DIE!!!
I doubt very much that the Bulls, or whichever name you re-form with, will go down to the CC1 or the CC you mark my words but if you allow people to sh** on you and tell you it's raining then this will all happen again. Just how was all this financial trouble not be spotted when the licences were divvied out last season?
I feel sorry for you the fans as you pay your money and expect the club to behave and pay its way then you get all this dumped in your lap and it's all up to you to sort out! The players haven't even given the slightest help as far as I can detect.
Anyway, if I'm wrong and we do meet next season you will be welcomed with open arms at Spotland and tell your board we don't have an exclusive policy at our gaff, no boardroom the diurectors drink and eat in the bar with the great unwashed!
I edit the programme at Hornets and if any of you would like to send me some thoughts, ideas or anything I'll open a page for discussion.
All the best of luck, but I doubt you need it!
Pugwash.
