Sounded an excellent win, going to struggle with away fixtures on Sundays this year but fancy making a few trips
Scrappy, but the radio reporters talked about how good the defence was. And taking 2 points against a play off position rival though has got to be good news

sounds like potter worked on the defence all week. just need to get on top of basics like keeping hold of ball and forward passes and we shouldnt be far off

Defence was great for most of the match. We had better shape in attack. Gale & Sammut had more options, partly because our pack stood up better, but also because our movement off the ball was better.
Still lots to work on - ball retention, composure, penalties etc. What was encouraging was that even though we lost composure, we calmed down and brought it back, we wouldn't have done that last season.
Gale is going to be an important player for us. Langley got through a heap of work and Whitehead showed why we've missed him. Once elima and mnm are available I think our pack will do well.

I said that before and got a load of guff from Ryan Sparks on here telling me I dont know about radio.
Which is true, I dont have a clue about radio broadcast, but I do know I want to listen to commentary of the game and not a load of waffle. |
